You CERTAINLY CAN'T "relax" feet on the rudder. SLIP to contact reduces side loads on the Undercarriage when Judged correctly. Sideloads, Particularly on a TW are going to CAUSE YAW as the wheels are forward of the CofG.
Crabbing is wings level as when flying anywhere with enough crab to "MAKE GOOD" the required track. This could also be the Extended Runway centreline, when on approach. Crab and then Kick straight is what I would consider the More NORMAL way to do it particularly with Heavier Higher inertia planes. Lighter Low inertia and stall speed Planes are a bit different where landing on one wheel slowly at contact the Best way. If you ground loop it's only at a low speed with TW and with tri gear you make sure the Nosewheel doesn't contact first, OR you might end up upside down.
