  1. OK, so the question behind me asking. AFAICR the minimum altitude is 100 AGL unless landing. There are exceptions, but..... A mate lives somewhere and he claims small jets fly over his place lower than ....... Well, he doesn't know the rules. In the greater Sydney area - just for clarity. I suggested he gets/uses Flight radar 24 to see who they are and at what altitude they are at. I did mention that he may not see their ACTUAL altitude for the day's QNH but for the standard QNH. But I guess if the plane says 500 feet over where he is: there will be questions asked of the pilot. (Take screen shot and send it to the plane people.)
  2. When using, does it show the ACTUAL altitude or standard altitude that needs adjusting for the local QNH?
  3. I can't access flickr. Firewall rules. Oops. Sorry, read the wrong part as the reply. (I Need to go to spec savers) 😉
  4. I tried Handbrake, but it didn't like the Apple original format. 😞 I pointed to the directory and the file (Original) wasn't shown. 🤷‍♂️ Further digging I was told that I could "cheat" and run quick command to "convert" the MOV to MP4 and so did that. Sorry folks for the big size and not deleting the original failed attempt. I thought I deleted it and posted the new version in that post, but - obviously - that didn't happen.
  5. On the news. Small plane crashes into a tall building. (No, not good.) But the reporter then goes on to say: It is not known if anyone was in the plane. I'll say that again: It is not known if anyone was in the plane Seriously? I'd attach a video but it is 27 meg in size. I'm not sure of size limits here. Oh, the clip I have - as there are squillions now on the net - if C/O Ch 7. Who really know aviation terms.
  6. You have to take your hats off to those kind of pilots though.
  7. I agree with Facthunter. I watched the clip and was shocked that the FUEL BOOST and ENGINE OFF buttons were so close to each other and were the same kind of button.
