    it was on a flightstar2. plane got damaged but engine was fine.

    probably changed his mind and didn't expect his deposit back. i know of someone who sold a corby starlet, buyer paid in full and was never heard from again , no attempt to pick up the plane or any phone contact. either croaked or forgot about it. and there was the story on the news a while back in florida. authorities had to track down the owner of an abandoned 2 million dollar yacht to get it moved. turned out he had forgotten where he left it 3 years before.

    Not sure yet. I am going to set it up on a stand so I can run it. After that I don't know. It's only done 30 hrs.

    old post but i have ended up with one of these hks engines. the one i have is an 80 hp 700t duel ignition, duel efi turbo. supposed to be an excellent engine. the 700e pictured is only about the same power as a 503 continuous. thats why they weren't popular in xairs when replacing rotax 582 s. quicksilver took all the stock of engines and parts from hks and are the world wide dealer i am pretty sure. they may have sold everything by now.

    there are a lot of dirtbags that do this on the net. they steal people's ads and make out they are that person. facebook market place is bad for it.

    I tried control line but after a while I started to feel like I just going round in circles. Learnt RC so I could crash them further away . That way I combined walking and flying.

    Never heard of anyone going to jail for killing themselves . I do agree with you if they were carrying passengers, that is when the sh## hits the fan. They would not do that.

    There are lots of blokes flying that haven't done a bfr for years. All good experienced aviators that fly on their own. Maybe not near the big smoke . Not saying it's the right thing to do but it happens.

    Culpability of those others who knew, or should have known, that neither the pilot or aircraft, met the minimum standards for flight. I never hear anyone mention or ask about Another pilot or his aircraft. I was told people do this to avoid any culpability if something goes wrong.

    the owner of titan aircraft said the nicest engine he tested in the titan tornado was a mazda rotary but he didn't go any further with it because the exhaust was too hot for the pusher installation.

    Why does the ice motor get a hard time. Is revving harder than normal or highly loaded turning the generator. Can you explain what you are talking about. Thanks

    This paragraph is what I was asking about. That's a good answer. Your first paragraph is not related to my question. But if the air speed indicator stopped in the xair I could just drive at 6000 rpm all the way to the ground. Its such high drag I can land at 60 knts with a short ground roll. Still have vsi as well for maintaining level flight. Probably wrong but would work.
