    i have to disagree nev. i have been hit with the google it replies before and it just makes you think why bother with a forum if they discourage people asking questions. and i would have said the same thing to anyone else that posted it too. you have not been selected because of our ongoing feud .😁

    Just wondered because you only talk about flying ga aircraft. What is the problem exactly. I only asked why some people had to sign the new terms and not others. But I found out today the people that paid membership without the seven page Form are getting them mailed to them to sign now. And the raaus rep said the seven signatures absolve raaus of all responsibility. I can live with that. It's how it's always been , just a bit more formalised.

    I have even read about ifr pilots that refuse to believe what the instruments are telling them and crash too.

    Why reply then . I thought you knew everything. I would have thought all members would have to acknowledge the terms and conditions , students and pilots.

    If your not in vfr your not an raaus pilot. I have been reading through the aviation accident report site and it is staggering how many vfr pilots worldwide fly into cloud and die every month not year. Followed closely by stall spins into the ground. Is it complacency or what.

    That's obvious about the bfr and medical. You tell me how a new member is exempt from the terms and conditions sign off.

    Can someone explain why new members are not getting these papers with the seven signatures. I know one bloke that signed up yesterday and they just took his payment and nothing else. He got told he has to do a bfr and medical before he can fly. He was a flying member years ago. Same thing with someone else 2 weeks ago.
