I have never looked into it that much. I know some people have been working with the RAAF trying to establish corridors in and out of sale but nothing yet that I know of.
The main problem I think is the RAAF do a lot of training at West sale and probably don't want annoying civilians getting in the way.
wondering if anyone knows what the worlds longest running thread is.
the never ending story on here started in February 2008. surely it must be close to a record.
At my local airfield. West sale.
It would take them a week to get a hundred bucks. I don't know why they think it's worth upsetting everyone for that.
It's a no fly zone 5 days a week for private pilots. And usually 2 or 3 people flying on the weekend.

they are not modest for a lot of people training in the circuit .
it would be ok if they said pay $20 and do as many t&gs as you like for the day.
paying it 4 times an hour for a trainee pilot gets expensive.
one off visits are a different story.
lakes entrance charges like as wounded bull
It might only be ten bucks but it adds up quick when you are training or practising touch and goes.
I believe they are discouraging people from practising what they have learnt in flight school
yes. a friend's young boy pulled the cord on an electric deep fryer , it came off the bench and poured over his head.
terrible thing for his mother to witness. he was in and out of hospital for years, probably still is.
I know an instructor that was getting charged double landing fees.
The cameras at each end were getting him on touch and goes.
Avdata being what they are just billed him anyway . They must have reckoned he was doing 30 second
Circuits
You really have no idea about avdata. They are always billing people for mistakes they make.
And no airfield has a right to charge someone a landing fee for passing 9000 ft overhead. They are only affected if you enter their circuit .
If you ever operated or worked on caterpillar equipment you would have seen the marks on the dipstick for checking the oil while the engine is running. And hot at the same time
