Can someone explain why new members are not getting these papers with the seven signatures.
I know one bloke that signed up yesterday and they just took his payment and nothing else. He got told he has to do a bfr and medical before he can fly. He was a flying member years ago. Same thing with someone else 2 weeks ago.
Didn't see your question sorry.
Yes it is a 19 rego kit built. And that is no problem. You can't do your RPC in a home built unless you were the builder or assisted in the build as we have discussed before.
However you can do all your endorsements in a homebuilt without being the builder.
Stabil is designed for marine applications where a tank of fuel can be 200 lts plus. Like I said research if it's usable or not.
I have never seen an raaus aircraft with the fuel capacity of a lot of boats. I never mentioned mowers.
It's not uncommon for boats to have 50 to 150k worth of outboards hanging off the back so I would hope it is not detrimental to the fuel system parts.
I think the best option for me will be to wait until I get my taildragger down here and do the endorsement in that with our club cfi if I can pin him down for long enough. He is usually booked 6 months ahead.
would be super cautious about "....a bottle of stabil from BCF or supercheap" and it would likly take more than a bottle to treat an aircraft system (no matter how small. Skippy.
I agree with you accept for this statement. Completely unfounded guesswork on your part. You need to do some research then make an informed comment.
That's an option for Danny. Pick up a bottle of stabil from BCF or supercheap. Don't know if it's recommended for aircraft though.
Why does avgas last for years, what do they put in it.
Excellent, thanks for that. Mine has the central y stick. I like that in the Jabiru so it's a plus for me.
The canopy hinges are different.
There is a video on U tube of a 650 canopy fitted to a 601, it opens forward which makes more sense to me.
