  1. Excellent, thanks for that. Mine has the central y stick. I like that in the Jabiru so it's a plus for me. The canopy hinges are different. There is a video on U tube of a 650 canopy fitted to a 601, it opens forward which makes more sense to me.
  2. I have bought a zodiac taildragger. I think I will contact my club and organise to do it in that. It will be the cheapest option if I can do that.

  5. Nev can a ga / raaus instructor do my endorsement in a VH aircraft. Otherwise I guess I can wait until I get my plane here I suppose and do it in that.
  6. Can I get an raaus endorsement with a ga instructor. The cfi at Traralgon is raaus and ga but the only taildragger there is his VH registered decathlon.
  7. From what I remember it was withholding important documents and emails from the court that caused most of the trouble. More than the actual accident.

  11. but i think that would have involved cutting away fabric to change the complete hanger. it would be a lot of work.
  12. would it be worth refilling with avgas to keep eveything wet and prevent condensation in empty tanks.
  13. I know of one gazelle that has had the alloy hanger conversion and I am sure he said it cost $11000
  14. thats how i understand it too. here at the hastings terminal was the example i was talking about. the importer does not allow the sale of fuel until it is in the tanker heading to the servo. imagine the profits the last few weeks.
  15. yesterday i was told that distributors in our area can't buy fuel in advance . they are charged the going rate for the day when they fill up the truck.
  16. I bet we never see diesel under 2.50 again.
  17. The bp servos on Eastlink were down to $3.02 for diesel today. Every other servo I went past was the same as yesterday.
