  1. Of course, thanks . And also less time in the air means fuel savings too I guess.
  2. The person on tv the other week was a top Australian ai developer and he is worried how fast ai is progressing with little thought to mechanisms to stop it. China is already building an army of humanoid Robots.
  3. Well your stall speed would be higher so you land faster. That's all I can think of without looking it up😁
  4. Don't have to convince me. Convince the experts that are saying it.
  5. More airflow equals more lift.
  6. There has been a few stories coming out lately from people in the ai industry having these concerns. Sounds like science fiction but so did aeroplanes and space travel once.
  7. Not that Skynet😀. I mean the one where some bloke comes from the future to stop it.
  8. I just log on here for that. 😁, Did you see the ai expert on the news 2 weeks ago. He is saying they have to introduce safety measures to control ai. Kill switchs to shut them down . There have been recent cases of AI disobeying directions and one AI program that jumped from computer to computer when they tried to turn it off. Skynet is on the way.
  9. It shows what a great engine the Rotax 9 series are when other countries are copying them because they can't design anything better That video is annoying ai. It talks about piston engines while showing jets and turboprops. Ai has so many flaws and it's everywhere on the net now spewing out completely wrong information. Bullshit rules these day's.
  10. I guess the request to stick to aviation was missed.by some.
  11. west sale
  12. why so agressive. i simply said they are a reliable engine no matter how many faults you assume they have.
  13. I think the problem is nev. You keep bringing up all the faults you think the 9 series have but all the pilots on here that fly those engines don't have any of the issues you think they should have. They are a fantastic reliable and economical engine proven time and time again
  14. Trouble is the hangar is a huge RAAF construction. The roof trusses would be well over 20 ft off the ground
  15. What do you base that idea on
  16. No I haven't yet.
  17. It could help . Might annoy them for a while.
  18. I think if you did that same flight with the smaller wing and 80 HP it might be different.
  19. An LSA 55 fully loaded would not climb well In that heat surely. I thought the j170/230 wing was developed to improve climb in Queensland heat. Cliff banks trialled the first one at swan hill.
  20. Trouble is ot I think even if I shot a hundred they would be replaced the next day.
  21. well i got a 22 rifle, took it out to the gun club and got it to shoot tight groups at 25 mt. then i went starling hunting. i shot 2 and felt that guilty for killing them i haven't tried again🙂
  22. i missed your post at the time. i have been thinking the same thing cable tie a length of conduit on each side. not only would it be easier to throw over but the weight would stop the tarp slipping off when easterly winds blow through the gaps in the doors.
  23. i really like the way phil explains things. great series of videos. how would you go when flaring on touchdown if you limit the travel. would it still be the same.
