I want information because I am a paid up member.
Turbs, do you not sympathy for a poor F…… farmer who is in drought? Where, is your care factor 🙂
Well with this hat on you need to do some hard work to see just what the conflict status is with the current group standing.
Usually no one bothers to do the due diligence.

I would hope that being on the RAA Board Of Directors, people all ready there or seeking election do not have financial interests in Aviation businesses. Would this not be a conflict of interest? In that RAA has a regulatory responsibility that members must abide?

...........donate a prize of $50,000 for the first person to show me a Tasmanian Tiger.
Turbo went to a Magic Shop and bought a disguise and a set of "one size fits all" electric false teeth, bought two metres of two inch chain from Bunnings, went home and sprayed stripes on Ringer, his Kangaroo dog, hammered a stake into the chain out the front of bull's place clipped Ringer to it, slipped the false teeth in and switched them on and just had enough time to step away and look fearful and bull came out.
"What's your name?" asked bull. "BRUCE" replied Turbo in a deep voice "I win the prize."
bull looked doubtfully and Ringer and the stripes, but there was no doubting those teeth and the animal was clearly hostile as evidenced by the big chain and the huge teeth which were going "clickClickClickClick CLIck CLICk,CLICK,CLICK!"
bull started back realising this was the real deal, and he could probably make millions cross breeding it for the puppy farms, so he ............................

There is no law that prohibits an aircraft flying off and landing on private land, so the simple answer is yes you can operate your aircraft but common sense applies.... such as noise abatement, no beat ups, minimal circuits etc. I think this applies to any country, it does here in the UK...
No, each Country varies.

..................the Munjari Tribe documentation throughout had referred to the tribe as First Nations, which as we all know is the name of the Indigenous nations (who were real nations) who live to this day in Canada around Vancouver and the United States as far south as Seattle and which didn't exist in the AboBros Islands, and furthermore its leader Alf Munjari was of Irish/Albanian descent and the peer reviewed Norman Tindale 1940 map Aboriginal Tribes of Australia showed the AboBros Islands owned by the AboBros tribe whose fish traps were found to be thousands of years old. CC&T, on behalf of Trackbine sent an expose to the Commonwealth Government and Alf was forced to give back the $47 million in grants to the Munjari Education and Employment Trust. Trackbine were given a $20 million finder's fee by the Commonwealth, CC&T gave them a discount and only charged $17 million, and everyone was happy except ...........

..........We pay some of our taxes and we are contributing to Australia's GDP.
The strategy devised to get Trackbine out was based on the 1938 Abrolhos Islands case where a group of crabbers contracted to suppy Cook Industries with fesh crabmeat, the only problem being CI had never been crabbing in their life and were unaware that Abrokhos crabs were nocturnal, so couldn't see to catch them.
CC&T had won the case by pointiing out that the order did not specify Nocturnal Abrohhos Crabs, just Abrohols Crabs and since there were no daylight species the contract was null and void, and not only that but ................

Only telling you what she said!!! Irrelevant because here in Qld we are not currently in lockdown! Who knows for how long though???
Why bring out of date ridiculous stuff up then; some of us have been locked up for nearly three months and in no mood for irresponsible claptrap.

Turbine Industries registered the advertising jingle which started with "Have you been Double Dose Vaccinated yet" which had tens of thousands of people per day swerving and going into their local Coles, Woolworths of IGA store for a DDV instead of that nasty painful needle in crowded vaccination centres.
This caught Trackbine by surprise because OT hadn't thought of marketing through supermarkets and had been pluggig away through Doctors', Dentists; surgeries.
The cash rolled in for a short time, but ........................

It was OT who had noted the intense interest from some of the thousands of WreckedAv [avrep] who totally rejected the vaccines hawked by the Evil Empire and the lockdowns put in place by the nicknames we can't mention here.
And so Trackbine introduced "Double Dose Vaccinate", a rabbit product which the patient drinks.
DDV provides immediate protection from Covid -19 and Trackbine provides an ornate Double Dose Vaccinated Passport for the Patient's convenience.

I don't want to be "that guy" but I am just identifying that it can't be as stated above. There are many reasons why people leave their home.
WorkEducation
Essential Utilities
Medical
Care Givers
Zoo Keepers that need to feed animals
The list goes on and on and on.
To single out one person (ME) and state that I have contributed because I drove from my house to my hangar in a community that has never had a single case, is a bit insulting.Pretty much all the people who breach quarantine use that sort of logic.
The bottom line is the number of essential workers (the Risk) is very small.
That leaves the very large group parked in one spot, where any infected people quickly form clusters which are quickly identified and isolate, so within a couple of weeks the numbers decline and then peter out.
Several cities have successfully demonstrated this concept which is why we don't have 20,000 deaths in Australia to date.
What's wrecking things in Sydney and Melbourne are the quite large groups moving around creating community spread of the virus.
The "We have never had a single case" cry has been busted again and again around Australia. Sure an isoltade place can't generate its own virus, but they all have suppliers and they all have relatives and its just a question of whether any of those numbers are carriers. What they all universally have is no ability to deal with a community spread, so are much more dangerous than the cities.
As far as going from home to hangar, well that would be without taking a mate, without stopping to get a coffee, without stopping to fuel the car or jerry can for the aircraft, without meeting anyone at the hangar or taking a visitor up with you, or helping someone shift aircraft to get yours out, or having someone come up to you at the airport without a mask because pilots don't need them, and pretty much the same on the way home, plus as someone else mentioned endangering first responders if you have a mishap. There were quite a few exemptions last year, but the abuses were legendary and this year with Delta is a different ball game.

They're certainly dragging down PICs. Maybe for RA we need another designation such as "Operator"

Hmm but by your example, then we should be at home in the dark, because in your "true lockdown" example, nobody could leave home to run the power station. Deliver food to woolies. Run the TV station.
So you see, there are plenty of examples where people MUST leave their home.
All of the positions you mention are risks necessary for the operation of the community and a lot of skilled thinking takes place before they are freed up. Sometimes the conditions they operate under to minimise any spread are very stressful.
Even some of the lockdown conditions are based on a degree of risk - schools open with skeleton staff to allow essential workers like nurses to do their jobs as an example.
Each lockdown is different, with a different set of limitations. Each State applies them to suit the circumstances, case-loads, hospital capacities etc.
This thread referred to the Current Melbourne Lockdown where the OP didn't bother to check with DHHS, so wasted all our time and allowed some of these irresponsibe comments to flourish.

Judging by the TV News last night that with lockdown ending in regional Victoria yesterday thousands of cars were streaming out of their 5 km boundaries in Melbourne heading for the country last night, there's a good chance we're about to do a NSW.

Marty is right. Furthermore, there doesn’t appear to be any time stamping so if joe covid was there at 9.35am and left at 951 am, but you were there from 9.20 to 9.29, then you still cop 14 days for you and your whole family - with no compensation .
The Victorian CHO has made it very clear, and been backed by the Premier (the Government), that because of what Marty referred to, DHHS and the Government will not Victimise or punish anyone who catches or spreads the virus or is honest with the contact tracers or discloses that their activities involved illegal or bizarre behaviour, and they have proved that again and again by helping obvious bastards who've spread the virus, but have at least given the contact tracers enough information to shut it down.
I'm not sure you're right about no time on the QTCode Walrus, since it responds to arrival phone time. It certainly doesn't record departure time to there would be a spread if you spent an evening at a pub, but I think what you might be referring to is the DHHS Tier 1, Tier 2 Anouncements where if you were there at the time your're required to go and get tested and isolate until you get a result, which can be as fast as a couple of hours or as long as abour 12 hours.

Victoria country restrictions ease tomorrow night. But the new rules are nonsense, our local pub will not be reopening as they are allowed a maximum of ten patrons indoors, no way they can make it work.
They'll soon change their mind if the TV Networks were right tonight reporting thousands of people breaking their 5 km boundaries and streaming for regional Victoria tonight.
