The Cornelius XFG-1 was an experimental glider designed with an even more unusual role, to be towed behind a larger aircraft, such as a B-29 bomber, and act as an additional fuel supply to extend the range of the towing aircraft
prices starting at $110,000 for the complete DHK180 package
No mention of the two cylinder suitable for smaller planes, other than the pdf spec sheet download
2 Cyl 120Hp is 16l/per hour but price is probably going to be in the R915 range😒
seems to have been in the 'coming soon' for ever
I regularly get suppliers (more often than not Chinese registered eBay sites but not exclusively) who are Obviously using AP for transportation, yet refuse to send to a PO (generally making security the excuse)
The way around is address to PO Box/Street Address of your Post Office
i.e. to send your PO box 75 the address is 75/xxx Street Address Your Town Postcode the 75/xxx are just examples and would be you own numbers.
Startrack Air Also sometimes needs this address varient to get PO instead of street delivery
Been using this for years
Oly problem was when a supplier who advertised using AustPost... sent by courier... AP refused to accept of course
Down draft as opposed to shear...
My first landing on the secondary dirt strip Winton Qld in my "new" Terrier. Had less than 15 hours total time in it.
I had around 200 hours but the last 150 were Soni.. a completely different 'kettle of fish' to fly..Low wing no flaps
Hit the (as I found out later known) down at the western end.. full noise lower flaps.. on first bounce ...lets do that again.
A down draft with any consistency can be compensated for (sort of), which even fresh to the plane I was able to compensate for and made a much more normal exit from the sky on the second go.

After 30+ years in the computer industry... 'Cannot Occur' is not something I can agree with
The coincidental errors occur with usually the most inconvenient timing
I believe I read the relight was induced by the FADEC not manually.
In an aircraft with documented existence of metal shavings in the wiring ducts and with no possible way to test the wiring for shorts in this instance.....
WHY are so many pilots so willing to throw these two under the bus?
Comes back to what I said earlier about Ex-Spurts.
There was as least one other unrequested shutdown, but as it happened after landing with no damage was undoubtedly not investigated thoroughly.
How many others were put done to 'just another unknown glitch' due to no damage?
I see the simulator Ex-spurts are sayings pilot error .. Are they The Same ones that vowed and declared Scully Could Have landed at an airport without a problem??
The blackbox is Only showing the electrical pulse in the wiring Not physical positions
