    I had to physically ring ANZ and let them know I am overseas so I can use my bank. Otherwise they automatically block the account when I try to do a transaction from America.

    You can do everything by snail mail but it still gets uploaded when it gets to the receiver. You just get a false sense of security thinking your 1800s method is safe.

    i can only speak for myself . i have done more digital contracts than i can remember. finance and insurance. i can honestly say there has never been a security issue with any of them. as far as selling property to scammers a lot of the problem is greed. some people are gullible once the big carrot is waved and they forget to do their due diligence. same with people desperate for a companion give away fortunes every year, quite often to people that don't exist.

    why. i have done dozens of digital contracts and never a problem. anyone saying otherwise has no experience with them.

    The Indian company that builds the kits has taken over the operation from randkar, the French owners of xair. So the website maybe getting changed. I spoke to the parts bloke this week and everything is still available from him. I can email a copy my poh for you when I get home in 2 weeks.

    Did a couple of hours of circuits today. A bit windy to travel in the xair. Good fun getting touchdowns down to 30 knots though.

    i flew over some powerlines the other day.

    when i spoke to the western power bloke it was about the powerlines from collie to albany after we had a big fire at tenterden caused by a powerpole fire. a lot more voltage than subdivision.

    sounds like good stuff. i am pretty sure lanolin is safe and you can use it in a pump bottle if you think aerosol is a problem.

    i asked a mate at western power about this years ago and he told me that underground wires can't dissipate heat sufficiently.

    my engine coating is called inox. i spray my boat motors with it and anything else i want to keep corrosion off. great product. have you ever seen a rusty sheep.

    Check what oil is in it, as Rf said. Before you worry about anything else.

    what are these ac like. good to fly. easy for a low hour pilot. would like to hear from owners / flyers of these types. looking at getting one to learn tail draggers and cruise a bit faster than the xair.
