    i think we have our wires crossed. it has nothing to do with the prosecution of that case. it was to close the loophole which allowed matt to use paraglider hours towards a fixed wing licence.

    well that would be pretty hard to do . the manual was rewritten to close the paraglider loophole. pretty sure casa told them too. i don't understand what you are saying.

    the paraglider not qualifying has only been written in the new ops manual because of this accident.

    its how it is here. i read about the first successful homebuilt aircraft in western australia. the cops were waiting to arrest the pilot/ builder when he did his maiden flight. that was back in the 20s or 30s. even had fun police then.

    Yes , a 50 ohm connector as advised by underwood. It's not very old so corrosion is not a problem. I leaned on the antenna by mistake when I was fitting aileron cables and it snapped off.

    Thank you. I don't want to lengthen it. Just want to cut and join to the old lead because it is a pain to remove from the AC.

    thanks for the info. i had a d6 before and that was good. i like the idea of not having to wire it in. its only for an ultralight.

    we have been waiting 2 weeks for a marap on a bolly prop to a gazelle. darren barnfield has been away but he is back now. all maraps go through him. he invented them.

    and the loaded gun was actually broken down and the barrels were empty.

    exactly, most heater hose is 5/8, slightly smaller than 16mm for memory. probably can push it onto a 17mm barb but it stretchs the hose wall at the tip of the fitting.

    if anyone wants some mackay 17.5mm hose just pay the postage and i can send u some. i have about 40 mt left. i only needed 2 meters and bought a 50 meter roll. isuzu wanted $800 for a 600mm long hose, thats how i ended up buying the large roll.

    do not push 5/8 hose over a 17mm barb. the hose will be weakened.

    Looks good mike. How would a rans s6 compare to your aircraft. They look like a similar style. I know of an s6 that will be available later in the year with all new ultralam skins. 912 uls.
