Cyanoacrylate and sodium bicarbonate isn't it?

HH you should run a celestial navigation & morse code course for the youngsters that have grown up in the telephonic era. :peepwall:

Ian should be able to give you a list then!I will buy everything from Ian I am just not sure what I need
I asked this same question some time back Compulsion, the tips others provided there would probably help you too.

I found PFL that go right down to the deck (or say 1m off a paddock) to be better / much more realistic than the 'level off at 500 feet' thing Eric. Many areas only allow for the latter though.

Haha - just goofing off, couldn't resist! Actually I think it is a fantastic country & I'm very pro-NZ, also the lady that canned their airforce has gone now thankfully.Ouch! All the best Solomon, hope it works out well for you.

Mate don't mention New Zealand during the recruiting interview - mortal enemies. The RAAF may be concerned you could defect with one of our fighters. Having a combat aircraft would be a coup for the RNZAFI can always move back to New Zealand and join theirs....

Yes there was a Rotec engine not far from here that made a paperweight of the aircraft it was fitted to also, all it takes is for the dodgyest bit to give.

^ how true Ballpoint, I find taxi drivers are the very worst on the road despite their many hours each year - and generally truck drivers the best / most precise.
Dunno about Tomo's flour bombs, pretty sure there would be CASA regulations against that. 50 penalty points or something, more if it was near CASA headquarters or parliament house.

The only country that has a tax on fart gas.

Sounds like a daredevil Compulsion. Can I ask what is a 'trike with a shute' - BRS?
-
Good stuff Dave; sweet sound a turbine spooling down (or up)! Agree with Mark, turbofans are vastly more efficient if anyone is making small ones?

Fantastic - a 'female urinary director'!
Now I am assured that everything that could be invented has been.

This seems a very male-dominated thread for some reason. Much too polite to ask how this situation ah... pans out for ladies of course. Ra-aus's memberless members - too smart to get caught out perhaps. For use, remove small bag with pad from larger bag, unzip (bag and trousers!), insert member into folded pad inside small bag, empty bladder, remove member, zip up small ziplock bag (and trousers!!), place inside larger bag and fasten zip on large bag.-

Any link to info on the wing detach theory Graham? The info posted elsewhere here seemed to suggest a possible in-flight explosion or fire which is entirely different. Also that referred to a J450 not a J170.

What's with the bags and bottles, you folk keen recyclers or something? Seems to me a hose vented externally would be sufficient. What do the airlines call it, fuel dump right?

Anyone else notice the grammatical errors in that CASA document? Cringe-worthy much..... some txtr kid might have put it together.
Being in (non-avaiation) manufacturing I can assure you they absolutely don't give a toss about local manufacturing and haven't for quite some time now. Just received a notice of 27.5% increase in electricity prices today, this state now has the most expensive power in the world apparently. There are a whole raft of such reverse tariffs; that is penalties local manufacturers have to pay that overseas based suppliers do not. And in this case it seems CASA will follow the theme - tougher on local aircraft than imported. The worst part of this is they are destroying aircraft manufactures in Australia. Andy this is not about to happen it is happening.-

I can't see CASA ever approving full EFB with totally no paper map back up, ERSA might be a different issue though. The GPS network is not infallible; just a few years back part of it was off-line for a period due to solar flare. There has been some discussion lately about if another 'Carrington Event' were to occur, we are so electronic dependant this would cause a staggering global depression and major loss of life.

I'm also using Bob Taits books also although I haven't sat any GA exams yet. I see Ian has both types for sale on this site, go to 'pilot supplies'.

Not sure about galvanised cable but use stainless steel cable at work, we buy it from E J Milde at Klemzig. They are a wholesaler only so quantity may not suit but good prices. Otherwise Nobles at Kilburn.
-
Theoretically I understand the J160 should have a faster cruise speed with its shorter wings but I don't seem to have noticed much difference in speed myself & also prefer the J170 overall.

OK that's a slight variation to me, hadn't heard the double S before. There is another acronym for forced landings, probably be down before I remembered how many S's in that one.

I'd be confused too - what's a HASSELL check?I do a lot of BFR's and am amazed when I ask for a HASSELL check to be done, the creative answers I get, and comments like "it's been a long time since I've done one of these...." and so on.
Still working on getting my turns balanced better without having to keep checking mid turn.

Age Man Suit lets you experience your body as a 75-year-old
^ Looks like Kim Il Jong's outfit no?
"Doctors spend a lot of time looking for ways to improve the lives of the elderly without actually knowing how it feels to be an older person engaging an active environment. Now researchers have come up with a way to give physicians new insight into their world."

Fantastic DJH! Can I jump in with a question, is there any age restriction with RA-Aus? One of the young Gnu's (for we are many) badly wants to fly with me, he's just turned four & was thinking he could perhaps ride in a child seat.

Try this link. They let in unknown numbers of Tamil Tigers and terrorists, now they want to clamp down and watch everyone.
This Labor government is sick and creepy.
