Gee I am clever, I can celebrate getting 2,000 forum members again - just cleaned out some forum members that hadn't been to the forums for a few months and the count went down to below 2,000 - a good excuse to have another bottle of champagne

-
I have just phoned KTI as I do every few months and again I am advised that the KTI 406 still hasn't been approved and again they have told me another 3 months before that is likely to happen and then they will start production - sorry!
On another note I have continually tried to get the GME one but they will not supply Clear Prop as it doesn't have a store front however I may have one option up my sleeve - if it comes off I will let you know but in the mean time Clear Prop has the Kannad XS3 406 PLB with GPS
-
I asked nicely but unfortunately I now need to say thread

Ok Guys...enough now...PLEASE!!!
I see that Tony has started a thread that covers forum discussions regarding accidents so let's

So my first CT girl has moved on - enjoy and remember you have the Recreational Flying logo on her so she will be well spotted - I also suppose this make you an un-bannable member of the forums

Enjoy!

and now for some free skylights that we got on the job - I did one, my father did one and the builder did one plus some cornices fell down from the vibrations - note the supports holding the ceilings up as they started to collapse - we should have moved out of the house

Well the closing date and time has come and gone. To all those that have put their nomination in I am sure all RAAus members would like to say thanks to you for your willingness to devote your time to our Association and the very best of luck to you.
On a personal note I have submitted my nomination for Victoria and the votes at election time will tell the outcome but in the meantime does anyone want to be a campaign manager

I remember @Risk - still got a couple of versions sitting in the draw here - wasn't cheap software 15 years agoI will give you some - GEMPACK, @Risk, pretty much everything that Deltek writes... :)Try doing any mathematical modelling or serious project management with a Mac and you will soon fall over. -

What do you mean Ben?
I didn't have a mortgage and when the bank said to me that they would be really nice and not only give me all this money but they would as an added bonus give me a mortgage as well...I thought that was mighty gentlemanly of them and who said the banks are nasty people...so what do you mean the mortgage takes it
-
Ok, who's crystal ball ran out of batteries - it's been pouring today and the roof comes off starting at 7:30am tomorrow

he now has a mortgage
, a wife and kids - he swore that he had more when he put it into the dryer but his wife, in true wifely fashion hell bent on reducing that large bundle of 'fiddies', must have turned the dryer up to full bore
.Now realising he didn't have the bargaining power that he first thought, he...

Yes, I will get them in for you
-
Kaz, I have 10 of them coming in this week - the new edition has just been released - once I have them in stock I will add them to the shop.Ian, were you able to get spiral bound ERSA's?Arriving this week are:
10 x ERSA
VNC's
2 x Melb
2 x Syd/Bris
2 x Adel
2 x Newcastle
WAC's are still current i.e. haven't been updated and I have a few of them dust damaged in stock
If anyone needs any please tell me and I will up the order to suit if needed. I only get the chance to return 1 of each if they don't sell before the next editions come out so I have to be careful of what stocks Clear Prop has at any one time.
-
Clear Prop should get their new issue of ERSA's, VNC's and WAC's later this week - they are slightly cheaper then Air Services
-
aircraft1 - There isn't one explicitly listed but if you need one just PM me the one you want and I will see if I can get it here in Aussie or from Wicks.
Clear Prop has access to over 10,000 items and it would take me a month of Sundays to put everything in.
Here is one from Wicks (Note Clear Prop is the Australian Wicks Agent) - http://www.wicksaircraft.com/catalog/product_detail.php/pid=5318~subid=3467/index.html
Here are all the ones from an Aussie Supplier:

djpacro, I would have thought it would be better to support our sponsor Clear Prop who pays to keep this site available to you

If you narrow it down to a specific one you want newairly, Clear Prop should be able to source it for you - if you want that is.

I wish I had the money

Thanks John and welcome back to the forums!
I am just going through the finalisation of my own Flight Sim hardware setup testing different hardware configuration in terms of HDD raid/single drive, ram types, video cards etc. I am also speaking with Michael Greenblatt in the US on the best windows/FSX installation and configuration to get the PC and software running at its ultimate. Once this is finished I will be sourcing the best wholesale prices on the right hardware and software and then offer the package to forum members. naturally it will include your great scenery - it is just so realistic. I use to use VOZ for flying in the sim at home of the trip I was going to take the next day - even set the weather conditions to same as what the weather report was saying and with your scenery and my maps I was always spot one.
A couple of things that I have found so far is that we don't need to waste money on Vista or the new 9 series graphic cards - the 8 series GTS cards at half the price will give better frame rates making the sim really smooth (anyone want to buy a 9 series graphic card that has only had 1hrs use
).Keep up the great work John and perhaps we can soon change that CT in your details to a Millennium Master

-
Cazza, I thought your Gazelle was up at Scone - I called in there and saw it being used for training there - could be wrong now though
