    Cliff banks at Swan Hill was the test pilot for the long wing. Jabiru sent him the first set to put on his plane and he did the testing and evaluation on them before they went to market.

    Makes sense. Geoff wood was a nice bloke and respected instructor. I was going to go up and do some training with him but he said wait till the weather was calmer later in the year. Sadly all this stuff happened then he got crook.

    it is a bit odd. i think it failed whatever they were trying to convey. on another note, i watched a video on the jabiru twin at oshkosh, configured for ifr the starting price is $550,000 usd. thats one expensive jabiru.

    I guess so. It just seems so odd to me that a recreational organisation is being run by a company. I know that's what is being discussed . So the board are volunteers and the rest are paid staff, is that correct.

    The property's owned by raaus were purchased with our fees . I guess they will get sold off.

    Rumour is raaus is going bankrupt. If this is true who are the actual people responsible. Will their own assets be at risk. Probably only a rumour but where there is smoke ?

    trailering is also a good option for the zodiak because the wings are so easy to remove. like the powered parachute and gyro pilots that have camperes and tow their flying machine .
