  1. Will have a look. By memory someone is using orings Lyndon
  2. Getting somewhere on the first wing. The second will take about 10 mins. I'm sure there are parts that arnt even mentioned in the manual. Then in the parts list are incorrect. But it all makes sense as I build it. Question. In the real world when I use a sealer on the fuel outlets after drilling the plastic tanks. Does any one have a preferred sealer when they look back with experience. I'm expecting to seal these tanks up for many years with zero issues. Thanks Lyndon
  3. Before I close up the wings. I see some people have lights or strobes. I don't need these to legally fly the plane. Lyndon
  4. Yes I believe so
  5. Makes sense. Thanks will give it a shot on the weekend. Lyndon
  6. Excellent. Now the three skins on each wing. Can I rivet the the top. The bottom. Then the front. Or do need to divide all the clecos up for all three. It should rivet up perfectly one at a time but in practice I'm sure this won't work. Thoughts ??? Lyndon
  7. I'm.jumping the gun here. But what stops it flapping around. Also obviously I just rivet up the blank holes Lyndon
  8. Thank you. When I get to the bottom skin is the same applied. Thanks Lyndon
  9. I take it these two angulars are not not fitted with the long range tanks ??? Lyndon
  10. All done. Now to do the top filler holes
  11. Well will have to drill the hole out as one will be inverted with the lip inwards. Won't be an issue. Ta
  12. Thoughts. I see some people rivnut these panels on. Seems like a lot of riv nuts. Lyndon
  13. About to cut. Now before I do. What are these holes used for. I have three the same out of the four. I'm thinking it should be two and two. If they are just a vent I'm sure it doesn't matter. Lyndon
  14. Great just priming all the skins and hopefully on the weekend get cutting and riveting. Lyndon
  15. The 10 mm hole that has to be moved is the existing one I take it. Lyndon
  16. Thanks will do that
  17. Thanks for. I feel a lot better about cutting it now. It's something you don't want to get wrong. Lyndon
  18. Wings and long range tanks. I have bought the long range tanks. About to skin the wings. Any tips. I'm thinking skin the top as per manual. Dummy fit the tanks and cut the filler hole. Then rivet up the top skin. Flip it over and fit the bottom skin. With the tank in place I can then cut it accurately. Basically dummy fit up. Common sense then cut. Any tips would be great. Nothing in the manual re the long range tanks. Thanks Lyndon
  19. Does anyone know the torque settings for tha case bolts. Or where I can them. Seems to be nothing on the net where I'm looking. Lyndon
  20. 1972 all over again.
  21. Camshaft. After many sleepless nights I'm getting the cam reground along with the lifters. At 150 bucks it cheap and it's done properly. It's very little work to get it out with none or very little cost in parts. As you see it's pretty good. It looks worse than it is as you can only just feel spalling. Strangely it's only on the rear lobes there is wear. Lyndon
  22. Thanks Lyndon
  23. I have three of these. I have three wheels. Am I missing something ??? They are steel and look to same as my fuselage cage. Lyndon
  24. Fantastic. At least I'm not alone. Or doing anything wrong. They are just shit from. That I can deal with. As long as it's not me. Thanks Lyndon
  25. The brakes are absolute junk. Nothing fits. The spacers don't. It also looks like to remove the wheel you remove the rotor first. That with unsealed bearings. What an absolute mish mash
