It looks like you have to open the media, not just look at the New Media page, to remove the red number tag.

Seems like many people on this forum suffer from Witzelsucht (look it up).

In Vic, you can pay the rego fee over the internet by EFT. No checks, no forms unless there is a change, and no new rego sticker issued. Police cars are equipped to high speed cameras which can check regos as they pass you on the road, whether you are driving or parked.

Next one:
Compare the wingspan with the size of the truck!

What he said was that there had been nothing done in 30 years to change the RAAF attitude towards granting clearance through the Williamstown restricted zone which caused the plane to divert from the coastal track inland over Barrington Tops, the Devils Triangle, and the same thing could happen again.
Edit: Beaten to it.

The plane is the Bonney Gull.

Clue: The designer/builder was killed in a test flight.

Not too many red Staggerwing's around Perth. This one flew over for the RAAF 100th at Point Cook in March. I guess this is the one.

Now there's a blast from the past - old 60's TV shows. I lived in Deniliquin in the late 50's and 1960, and you needed a mast as high as the TV transmitter to receive TV. Needless to say, we didn't see much TV. I came to Melbourne with my Dad to visit family, and I can remember stopping at a roadhouse where Whirlybirds was on TV. Sparked my interest in helicopters. Much later when we lived in Melbourne, I used to travel from the Yarra heliport to Essendon on the Ansett airport shuttle, just to ride in a helicopter. Came to know pilot Darcy Newell.

Hint: Purpose built to provide a stable platform.

No, Nev. Fixed wing.

Something a little harder:

I must surely be cursed, or have broken lots of mirrors. Had planned to go, and told the missus I was having that day. In the mail today, I received an invite to a 94th birthday party for my aunt (my late mother's sister) at 2 pm on that day, at Drouin. Not an invitation I could turn down for a fly-in! Damn.

Full marks. Marty. Far out design for a cropduster.

Not too difficult, eh?
