Your problem Skippy is that you still haven't produced ANY laws.
That would be a start.
Then there is the matter of what is being discussed which is payment for using the property, which hasn't been addressed.
Then there is the morality where the low lifes that cheat their way out of paying spoil it for the genuine users, and when costs aren't covered, it's an easy decision for an owner/council to find something that returns a profit like building houses or factories on the site.

Before talking about these things and going off the rails, better to get the legislation for your State and see what it says. There are plenty of Tribunal cases for precedents in Planning and building etc.

...unloaded in the men's shed and there was great discussion, and there were speeches from each one on how their modification to the simple Thruster was so much better, how to cut tubing (88 contributions) where to put the fuel tank (132 contributions) whether the Bunnings wheelbarrow tyres were better than the crap tyres from Airways Pine (284 contributions over 3 years) and the first one was ready for its test flight in a mere 60 months (the last five would never be finished despite their builders offering the most prolific contributions drawn from all over the world). Such was the level of innovation and skill in the AUF and the first two, interesting looking machines, lined up for their test flights............................................

A lot of different subjects here all rolled into one thread; DPP actions where there MAY be action taken IF there is evidence which COULD result in convictions and fines, but nothing happening, a few statements of who was at fault which were personal opinions. A second legal system the adversarial in front of a judge discussed, mixed in with the first process, when there may not be a second process, RAA Ltd attacked for not telling everyone (as the board of management would in the case of RAA Inc.) when in a limited company your positions are shareholders, so you might be told at the AGM etc. and a lot of stirring going on based on the same original material. These things take time to roll out.

..........major problems in the past where this "easy come/easy go" industry began to clog W roads with unroadworthy and unsafe trucks known as GBTs or Gold Bullion Trucks where dirt was shovelled in and the gold would be smelted on the spot. They were allowd to be registered as DG Trucks (Dangerous Goods) trucks the same as Fuel Tankers and had to carry the same placarding, including the owners name.
One nororious GBT pulled over by the W Highway Patrol had a placard stolen from the Kalgoorlie strip reading "For a Good Time, phone Rosie on 0342 223 123."

You shouldn't have to do that and how is anyone else going to Know where you are? You can fly parallel and call "abeam" Nev
Recreational flying is freedom, there are multiple landmarks all over the eastern states. What's wrong with leaving a flight at home and making phone calls?

I'm glad they've corrected it for you.
They've refused to do so for me - despite contacting them in writing over it. They're a parasite on the industry. Look at this very thread, people suggest bogus calls or bogus callsigns in an attempt to avoid being charged, to the detriment of safety overall.
And they don't "only charge for landings" - I've been charged for overflying airports at 9,500' - verified by ADS-B - because I put "YGLA" on the flightplan as a turnpoint instead of the aid and made a deconfliction call with a departing RPT on CTAF.
AvData, scum of the earth. An alternative is to choose non airfield check and turn points. Throughout western NSW grain silos appear like clockwork, and so on, and you eliminate any half-asleep, careless or just plain wrong local aircraft.

I received this information today. I think maybe th members need to consider a Special General meeting of RAAus in light of this.
Suggest IF you want further information please call the writer.
RAAus future is at stake here…
There is an urgent matter that all RAAus pilots and aircraft owners need to consider. If left unresolved this issue will adversely impact your right to fly light sport aircraft.
CORONERS INQUEST Final Report - Jabiru Accident Mount Beauty.
In his report the Coroner, Paul Lawrie, has recommended legal action be taken against RAAus. He has referred this matter for prosecution to the Department of Public Prosecutions in Victoria.
The key matter has been the stated issue of a pilot certificate and endorsements without adequate pilot training by RAAus and the withholding of information that should have been released to the Coroner.
The responsible RAAus officers in this matter, previous Operations Manager Ms J.Bailey and the RAAus Chairman Mr M.Monk.
Over the last 40 years of RAAus’s existence we have never had such such an adverse report made against our organisation.
It is estimated over $300,000+ of member's money, that is your money, has already been spent on legal and associated costs by RAAus.The losses continue to accumulate. Unfortunately there is no end in sight for the actual and planned legal proceedings being taken against RAAus.
RAAus will become insolvent if current and future legal claims made against it are successful.
Despite the obvious need to do so the Coroner's report has not been published by RAAus for its members. Even a link to the Coroner's report in a RAAus newsletter has not been made available. I believe most would see this is an attempt to keep the report a secret.
So why does this report matter to you? RAAus may have its licensing approvals suspended or terminated by CASA. Control of sport aviation may be handed back to CASA. Your flying privileges may be adversely affected should this occur.
So what can any RAAus member do about this catastrophe?
Firstly please consider the serious issues that now confront RAAus. Please also forward the Coroners report and the Australian Aviation Magazine article on to other interested RAAus members. If enough RAAus members chose to be informed and be involved in we will be able to effect change.
You can have your voice heard by supporting common sense reform of RAAus and how it operates.
Please see this as a call to action, let me know by return email if you are prepared to let you voice be heard. What is needed is sufficient RAAus members calling for action to resolve the significant problems we are now facing.
The Coroners report and Australia Aviation article have been enclosed as PDF copies to download ….

Victorian Coroners Inquest Report - Jabiru Aircraft Accident Mt Beauty, Victoria
You probably should have stopped the change to RAA Ltd.
There may be plenty of difficulties getting inside RAA Ltd from the outside.
A Special General Meeting (if allowed under the RAA Ltd Constitution) will be a different animal to an SGM under the Incorporated Association ACT Legislation, so I'd start looking at that aspect first.
Also, in terms of dollars, what the Coroner/DPP do will be quite different to what a Public Liability Lawyer might do, so it would be smart to get some advice before rushing in.

When the road across the Nullabor was dirt, there were news reports of families blockaging the road and bring cars to a stop under threat of spears, collecting their own "entry" tax. Years later a couplle of old tuck salesmen told the story of how they were delivering two new Atkinson Prime Movers to Perth bobtail.
They were travelling flat out, line astern with the second one just ahead of the slipstream of dust when up ahead Morton steps out into the middle for the road with his spears ready for a big collect.
The trucks didn't slow down and didn't move and the second driver said he heard the rattle of a spear on the fuel tank.

The same was said about LPG .Here on the East Coast. Not many servos don't a have LPG bowser .

LPG was not able to continue in the vehicle industry because nobody could find a way of making it meet the increasingly lower Australian Design Rules on emissions. The ADR system does allow existing vehicles to operate for the rest of their lives as long as someone keeps producing LPG.

And the reason quoted by the current Labor Govt for removing that funding for hydrogen powered trucks, is because there was a major shortage of hydrogen-powered trucks available for testing and research work.
I'd suggest the reason there are virtually no hydrogen powered test trucks available, is because virtually all truck manufacturers see no potential in pursuing that market, simply because the economics fail to stack up, and the simple fact that an Australia-wide hydrogen-dispensing infrastructure is non-existent, and isn't likely to be installed, in the foreseeable future.
No, it's because we don't leach off Governments but spend our own money, get our own patents, research our own markets, research the supply infrastructure (I was hired to research Australia's Urea (AdBlue) network and then make big money getting a market advantage.) The company that makes the finished product I showed a few days ago spends billions of dollars per year on research so will not miss the $75 million the Australian government was providing for ALL manufacturers and potential manufacturers.
The people on this site squeal when there is an accident aircraft labelled "Cessna" but when they are discussing our Industry they don't take the same care to identify the sectors of the industry.

.....n unofficial dumping point for Cummins and Detroit oil changes. Marky was suffering many bruises as the big filters clanked together in the smelly wash. They stood well back from the smell and tried to come up with a solution.
Keen NESSERS may have noted that Turbo now has a part in Outback Truckers. He had to learn extra swear words and make sure something failed on every trip but it's big money when filming with coconut oil on your face to look like sweat.

Dusty O,Track quickly unconscionised the two occupants of the Patrol, but realising he was going to need three of them to pull Marky up the now stinking shaft, he told Marky to wait and then dragged the Patrol occupants back under the Patrol so he coud pretend to rescue them when they came to..........

It's the energy required to electrolyse hydrogen-containing products, such as water, that kills the idea that cheap hydrogen can be mass-produced. Batteries recharged via renewable energy sources are still way in front of any hydrogen idea, and as battery technology continues to improve, hydrogen will continue to fall further behind.
The amount of surplus energy being produced by rooftop solar is now so huge, it has become a problem, that's why State Govts are investing in grid-level storage to soak it up.
How does this grid-level storage work?

Green hydrogen just means you've used only renewable energy to electrolyse water. Splitting the molecule into one O and two Hs. The problem is, water is actually quite a perplexing molecule. For instance, most materials shrink as they get colder and expand when they get hotter. Water shrinks as it gets colder, to a certain point. Then as it gets even colder, it starts expanding again! It's also quite tenacious. And there really doesn't seem to be any way of not expending a LOT energy to split it. Really doesn't seem to be much reason to make green hydrogen, other than where you might need it for some industrial purpose (chemical for instance) without putting carbon in the air by getting it from fossil fuels (blue hydrogen).
The tailpipe emission of a hydrogen ICE is zero, just like the EV.
So the comparison is going to need CO2 calcs from the original source to the engine supply point, in the same way that EV might have a Zero tailpipe output, but if it's charged from the grid, there's a CO2 penalty at the power station stack, and then there are different CO2 outputs to make the components and asseble them.
