Another years just about gone by, and I feel it's time to say "thank you".
Thanks to Ian, Corrine and the others behind the scenes for all the hard work that's gone on to provide us with these wonderful forums.
Where else can one go to learn more about flying, have a bitch about women, men, engines, the weather, registration delays, etc. etc.
Wouldn't want it any other way, we can bag out our mates with different points of view to our own, and express our own, that is priceless.
Thanks to all concerned, and for what i've learned over the past 12mths, may it continue long into the future for all to enjoy.
Merry Christmas and safe landings everyone.
Kind Regards.

I might be getting older, but where the hell was the bridge you referred to?

A big Aussie :welcome:to you.
So what are you flying now?
So many recreational types to choose from these days.

No doubt you're right there Turbs, it seems like the sudden stop that they have to work on, for whatever application, as to whether it's really suitable for the application.
-
Knowing a bit more of the actual manufacturing process would be interesting.
If an inner and outer pressed skin can be appropriately spaced, then the inner foam layer added, the number of applications would be immence compared to many of the present construction techniques.
Looks like it has a very promising future.

Mate, you should change your forum name before making a post like that:yikes:

Don't forget, many a good laugh has been sworn on oath or said in dubious sincerity.
Many a time i've heard the head of The Royal Family start a speach with "It gives my husband and I great pleasure"-----
I always think to myself "really?" And you're the only ones?

Looks great Tomo, know what you mean about the weather, might have to wait a few days yet before setting off south. All fixed up! Flies magically, we are very happy with it… once this weather calms down will fly it home from Toowoomba.

Just before midday today, I was on Mermaid Beach and saw a J230 heading north at about 1000ft agl, and wondered who it was? About 2mins later a couple of FA18s flew along much the same track but at barely 200ft above sea level going like a bat out of hell.I thought to myself, that bugger must have forgotten to pay his landing fees at Newcastle and they've come to collect, or is there some other explanation?

Loved every minute of the video, very well done.
Looking forward to the next one.

In NZ, Whakatane is my fave!

You naughty boy Howard:yikes:.
I happen to know how thats pronounced, but I never managed to catch up with the girl called Ta-nee
-
I've heard some very strange pronounciations in the Bankstown area from overseas students as well, over the years.
Always wondered how the poor buggers in the tower were able to make the right decisions?
Maybe they train overseas too.

Victorians may get lucky soon, as well.
-
Mate, if you dreamed that lot up, you may be in need of a scratch-built something or other, to keep you busy?

-
Looks terrific Rob, real macho. Well done mate, bet you're itching to get it out the hanger to blow away any spray-dust.
Kind regards

A guy, who was not feeling at all well, went to the hospital to have tests done.
Two days later, he received a call to get to the hospital as fast as he could and NOT
to have contact with anyone.
Upon arrival, he was ushered to a room where everyone was in HAZMAT suits......
The lead doctor said,
"Sir.....I am sorry to inform you that your tests came back and you
are positive for HEADS."
The guy says,
"Huh? What the hell is HEADS?
The doc says,
"Well, Sir....it is a mutated virus that combines Herpes, Ebola, AIDS, Diphtheria and Syphilis..."
"Oh, Dear God!"
the guy replies,
"What can you do?"
The doctor says,
"Just stay calm....the first thing we are going to do is get you a room all to yourself.
Then, we are going to start you off with a diet of pancakes and pizza....."
The guy says,
"Wait! What? Pancakes and pizza?
Will that help cure me?"
"Well,.....no."
says the doctor,
"But, it's the only things we can think of which we can slip under the bloody door...."

Thank you rank, looking very sad, but probably repairable, so long as I don't have to foot the bill.

Both is, and are, can be present tense.
But as the lass didn't go to school when some of old farts did, we'll make allowances that despite are, being more accurate as two were currently being conveyed, she has to be congratulated for probably the most concise report i've read in a while.
At least it wasn't another Cessna, or ultralight.
She should get a job with ninemsn, the daily news would be far more readable and accurate.
Haven't seen any pics of the Chippy, hope it's repairable, and the POB are ok.

And that ad was from back in the 60's, didn't need it then:ecstatic:, things wern't rusty.

Maybe this is what your toolkit needs?

G'day Jimbo. Got me stumped on that one. Hopefully someone on here might be able to throw some light on it's origin.
Might be worth asking the same question to Briggs and Stratton who I believe own the Victa business these days.
Rgds Planey
PS
It could be the 170cc twin motor that Victa imported from Canada around 1975

Every day they find another mug who won't come back.
My partner paid, but if it was me, the cups would now be securely planted in a place somewhere where the sun don't shine.
