  1. daza38 if the factory in columbia or cuba or whereeva it is built is not recognised by australia authority then it may as well be amature built because its not factory built. It just depends on how you interpret factory built it may as well be a bunch of guys in a shed.

Mostly the "recognized" factories are just a bunch of guys in a shed...

  2. Regional airports may have airline access...but it is meaningless unless there is some competition to keep the prices down...Rex etc doesn't count as viable airline transport.

I am guessing Mackay is too far north BUT.. it has good access with completion from major airline nation wide...

This property would be perfect and already has an airstrip...and perfect flying weather...buy it outright for $1 million and make an income leasing the farm...

  3. I agree Don, but Zlin with their Savage range of cub types can be bought with the basics. ie- 80 Hp rotax etc

They are nice...but...they aren't a Cub...and they are "driven" from the front seat. I reckon the original J3 still has a special appeal.

If it was a case of buying the best Cub-a-like currently on the market the Savages wins...but I would want more.

  4. It's interesting that a member of such an alleged vandalising group would know exactly how to puncture the fuel tanks on an aircraft, but not be able to draw their own symbol. So the question perhaps should be who would know how to puncture tanks but not know how to draw swastikas?

    Gnarly...?

    (big LOL)

  5. Come over to Watts Bridge some time or give me a call, happy to come over to Coominya. I would be happy to show you a Nynja. It will do just about anything a Brumby will do at half the price. www.bestoffaircraft.com.au Greg.

Except build and certify itself for training...

(hey you asked for it for trying to steal a thread on a competitor aircraft)

  6. The high wing Brumby IMO looks a bit ungainly...but so does the Savanah...until you fly one...and then you appreciate that function has it's own beauty and you never look at the bird the same way again.
