With one or more screens and the right apps you may be able to place a couple behind your instrument panel for an open platform glass cockpit...?

Does anyone have a simple explanation for what this Ninjablock thingy is?
Possible aviation applications?

That Biplane looks interesting...what is it ?

Such promise...
Such irony...
AUF was kidnapped...that report made no mention of this GA light thingy with 120 knot aircraft and 10000 foot ceilings....

I would be very wary unless I had certain hard copy clarification that it was safe to do so from the manufacturer. There are Ra aircraft that can be deadly without the canopy/doors fully latched... Texan and Sav come to mind.

This question was answered on MythBusters...
A non qualified and totally unprepared and untrained person was able to land a 747 with only spoken assistance no problem.

The Skyfox had a fin/rudder size upgrade early in it's life...

Informative yet again...my observation is that few within Ra Aus seems to have any solid idea of the rules...
Should this be a concern?

I reckon there is a lot of this old Super8 footage hanging around...lets hope whoever's hands it lands up in understands it's importance before it is lost to history...

Why let the kids have all the fun?
I would give that a go...

Lightwing doors are great for ejecting things out of...Or buy a Lightwing that you can safely open the door inflight on.......Maj....

I thought they tried this once before and failed...perhaps the ersa is not accurate...?

It kind of makes sense when you think about it. The aircraft (be it C206 or Gyro) is a useful tool in Outback Australia and is no different to a Dirt Bike or a good horse...No, CASA is very clear that agricultural operations on land owned and occupied by the owner of the aircraft is a private operation. -
And some luck...

Well actually...they are a charity...only we pay them.Nope to all. They are not telling everyone around the world anything - people around the world choose to use their standards only if they want to.Our governing bodies can propose changes to the standards.
They are not a charity.

At 50 kms realistically not too many Ra Aus aircraft are going to have the glide performance to make land even at maximum height...might buy you some time before you get wet. Depending on wind it could cost you some time...

I agree. But for goodness sack lets not become the sort of people and flying fraternity that is sunk under an overweight burden of restrictions that would stop anyone's right to try. Lest we forget... Flying is about calculated risk is it not?Good link if you think it was a good idea ask yourself will these guys ever try that again? Sure they might have got away with it this time but???-

It was all in the audits...remember the problems CASA found with Regos in the report were just a small sample they selected for audit...

That is pretty reasonable for a good quality pair of specs these days ...Mmmm...do we have to talk about the price ?..........
About 800 smackers with percsription lenses

I had to mark it all informative...paints an informative picture when so many of us are so confused about the rules we are supposed to operate under.

I saw him wring the nuts of a XXXX Pitts over the Isa Rodeo...a few years ago now. Was the first time I saw a Pitts flown in anger and I was impressed I can tell you. The Pitts did the city centre mounted on a truck during the infamous Mount Isa Mardi-Gra...

Was that the only one in Australia?Try this (experimental Blanik motor conversion, circa 1982 ). It needs the fatigue mod first, though.

NinjaBlocks...what are they for?

You could...I was thinking if this is module based it would be very customizable...as simple as LCD readouts...with a change in modules a glass display...
