Still waiting for the "real" performance of the Bravo. Honest figures from aircraft salesman are few and far between.

What is with the Chipmunk voices? LolI even watched a couple of episodes of Whirlybirds - who remembers them?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gnf2oSdsiTY -

It sounds like the Board may have put some work into this lately and good on you guys.
The problem as I read it...and I ain't no PPC expert by any means...is that the statement released from Ra-Aus indicates that it is still a case of being forced by the regulator to only apply band aid measures... like I say...not the boards fault. PPC requires less regulation...and that is a hard thing to achieve...?

It does appear to be a complete mash up by...someone.
Ra-Aus seemed to write their regulations based around a single and specific model of PPC... It really does need to be addressed IMO. It is very strange it hasn't been addressed.

How do you do a Cross Country endorsement in a PPC?

Pilot error. Bloody foolish display. The pilot should be reprimanded. The video explains why the gear bolts let go! -
He conveniently left that out of the reasons not to smile.I think "jiggs" has had a few too many hits to the heads but you good ol' boys are tolerant, so I won't object. -
Encourage Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance they demand of us????
What the??? Are you nuts?

Wow Geoff!!!
That was an awesome read. I don't mean to make light of the seriousness but it literally had me on the edge of my seat. And I think I literally cheered when the smoke cleared.
I think you succeeded wonderfully. I am sure I could' t have done better in the same circumstances.

Because a Jabiru 4 place is not an Ultralight.I'm led to believe that all ultralights in Germany had to have a ballistic parachute. If that's the case why didn't they deploy it? -
Cockpit airbags anyone?

I know it is streets apart...but I was bloody impressed to watch the arrivals at Birdsville Races when I went (many years ago now). Didn't see a single horse race...but that little airport didn't stop all afternoon.Good reason to get to Oshkosh a couple days early is to watch the arrivals. Have some good footage of mass arrivals like the Bonanzas and the Nang Changs one touching down every 5 seconds or so. Even the FAR103 ultralights have their own inbound route and strip. They got it all sorted. Being a controller at Oshkosh is a highly sort after gig. -
I take that back... this was a crash....not an accident.I wonder whether the cameras and data loggers were mounted and running during the accident? -

Come on chaps... the Wright Brothers never would have achieved flight with that attitude. This is the future. Maybe not the 3 motor version...but 6 or 8...all this needs is better batteries and it is ready to go as technology it appears.

Would it be the first PPC fatal Graeme? Or is it just the Aerochute claim?
Regardless they seem to have a good safety record compared to Powered Paragliders.

Check this out... Shows the twin seater flown from the front and the back seat.

They are using them for Chopper mustering in Australia? That is great. It was only a matter of time I guess. This company has been gaining huge respect around the world. They are quickly catching on in the grazing industry australia. Single seaters, 912 Rotax's.Now..........they're producing these little rippers ( tandems ) 914 Rotax's.Feedback from flyers is 100% positive, at less than $100k, it's only time before robo feels the pain.

The facts about the NT road toll in the Minister for Transports own words...One very well known road in the NT, had for many years, NO speed limit and NO deaths. The Gods who rule us put in a speed limit & six died in one year.I have to removed the Training wheel from the front of my HB, (to reduce wing loading) & learn to fly a Very short coupled (three mtr) tail-dragger!.spacesailor
