Great work, I'm sure you've got a big smile still!!

I haven't had anything to do with the engine in mention, so I'm not sure about this, but does the coolant header tank cap have a relief pressure overflow outlet or pipe on it?
-
Your nasty Ross...!
By the way: it's a Hispano HA-200D Saetta D-IWMS, Messerschmitt Stiftung

By the fire...!! strike, I was sweating like a pig today, (well it was probably only 24degress I suppose)We retired to the house to watch videos by the fire.I was just working to hard that's all!!

If he accepted help, it would mean failure on his part... even though it turned out like that in the end, in his mind he was probably thinking he was strong enough to handle it himself, and excepting help would show failure.......
Some old farmers are a bit like that, won't except government (or something like that) aid to get out of debt (or what ever), but then end up going broke anyway in the end...
I think it's all got something to do with Pride...

G'day and
to the forums JB,There's quite a few guys on here from Caboolture, so I'm sure they'll speak up soon, and you could be even fortunate enough to meet them....
Have Fun,

There's two of us now dotDash - me and the CASA man.
Funny, he was just the same as a few on these forums - looking for places to visit and people to talk to. I told him the weather was great out your way this time of year and you'd be happy to show him round. Was that all right?.....
Of course it's all right... but you'll have to put all the unlawful (aviation term) stuff away said the El Cappo...
What unlawful stuff demanded (a commonly used aviation term) Dotdash? you mean the..........
-
....Careful, dotdash, you could finish up in first angle projection in that thing......
First angle ejection?! probably could if I had ejection seats...
Scenario: engine stops on climb out... thats the first angle of projection ready for ejection...;) (now that's what I call floowwwiinngg words:clap:)
*I've only forgot to put oil in the fuel once.... so to make up for it, I put a double dose in the next tank of fuel;)

Ps. Welcome back Turb O
we all were starting to get turbo withdrawal's:crying: So it's a great pleasure to see you've revived from your one sided forum bashing *No I really haven't ever done that:laugh:

"I'd better start trying to get my oil temp up off the bottom mark, and ...............
.......... and or you could fly a 2 stroke...? then all you've got to do then is remember to put oil in the fuel!;)
But, but spluttered Capitan...:yuk:... that's not my.............

G'day and Welcome to the forums Jphenanff:thumb_up:
It's great to have you on board, so join in and enjoy yourself, there's also a few around here that supposedly can speak French...
Je peux écrire un bit en français, mais l'AM non ce bon à lui.
ayez un beau jour, et pilotez le coffre-fort.
Hope that make sense...

"As soon as the wind drops (aviation term) we'll ...........
Pull the Jab a Roo out of the hanger (aviation term) and take off downwind (just to be different) and do a contra conventional normal operating circuit (full of aviation terms)
But you better all look out for.................

Pier, peer, pear, peir, pie...rrr... pressure... "if your wise you'll realize there's more to pie's than meet the eyes" ... an o'l wise proverb!
-
"You must have me confused with someone who worries about such things.";)
Who? me?, worry about such things.....
not exactly your highness! (bit of an aviation termi_dunno) I'm just continually amazed at the strange ways that some young men behave when in a group together..!:confused:What's it called? .... pear...no...peer.............
----------------
I should add too, that I'm not one for having fun!! 'cause that's what some tend to think if you don't do what's been outlined above...
-
all this talk about dope and bundy could lead a young lad to become a deviated! (aviation term)"
Ah thought TomTom... finally some one has become a little mature in there way of thinking and is attempting to change the way people talk/think?
(or are you?;))Ok, so let me tell you a little story... "Young TomTom went away to TAFE when he was 16, and was hit by the conversations that went around there, 'you know the one's, talking about going and getting drunk, and talking sex, and thinking it's funny... to be drunk and going down the main road in a shopping trolley... (mind you it probably was!). So I got so sick and tired of this jolly talk I tried to change the subject and talk mechanical stuff, or stuff that actually has potential! (mind you, that's what all the other's were supposed to be there for:confused:) but got laughed at and made fun of all the time...(which doesn't worry me at all, I should add)
And because I wanted to learn stuff and was genuinely interested,(well ain't that what you going there for?) Some of the guys are there for just a social gathering I'm sure..!
The teacher told my Dad latter on at some event that my Brother (he went before me, 'cause he's older) and I are his best students:thumb_up:... How's that for encouragement Hey:thumb_up: And really that's just from appreciating other people's stuff, and treating it with care...
So I have absolutely no idea why I've told you all this....... and it doesn't fit in really at all...i_dunno:blush:
Oh yes that's what it was, talking Dope (ain't that the stuff you put on model aircraft?
)(aircraft term!) And Bundy (That's where Dad grew up:big_grin:) in and around young people's hearing... now that's actually called respect Mussed................ -
Geez, what revs would that be sitting at for that length of time...? no wonder you've blown up 14cars!!once sat on 209 km/hr all the way down from Albury to the outskirts of Melbourne, however I spent many hours in the workshop pulling the engine donw and fitting new O rings, usually after a trip like that,
Ps. that's pretty quick you know;)
-
And how will you ever understand it if you don't first play with it? Just think, if you had that attitude before you started the upgrade, you would never have even done it. Now you've got an upgraded thing, plus a new found knowledge in this electronic gizmo...!I should not play with things I don't really understand.GSo I think you've done well:thumb_up::thumb_up:

Back in the riverland days I did once meet a Yuri. Memorable chap he had the ............
..............the biggest nose you could ever imagine, that you could never forget him even if you desperately tried too...........

This place is great if you ask me, so enjoy your stay, and join in:big_grin:
-
You sound like you've been everywhere Maj...:thumb_up:Hey I flew out of Petaluma for a couple of years in the early 90s, after we had to leave Liberty Field. Had a little homebuilt Albatros C1 replica that I bought back to Ausyralia with me. Is the UL club still active there ?....You may know some of my old flying friends......Cheers Ross Millard aka: Loulhoffen Von Lowensprung. -
You have to wonder after rolling and flipping around like that, that you'd be able to fly straight and level again...!

Poor Turbz is feeling like a martyr after a fine night out...

But put the past behind you and NES before you and it will all be a joyful ending to a single sided battle against some other poor forum members...

Ahlocks: Poor DotDash not ever hearing the word "Bicuspids" before thought he'd look it up in Google and found out your more of a dentist than we first anticipated... but this was one description of what it means "Having two points or cusps, as the crescent moon" quite funny really...!
