and my .........
Blood vessel in the right eye... Man... now I'm not gonna look real good for Bigpete's birthday party (just noticed I'd forgotten you Pete in our sitting on the edge of your seat story that's actually flowing reasonably well...! although Le Creepe is trying to drift off a bit;))
But while I'm frantically coaxing my two pot screamer back to earth, the mandarin actually hit it's target right on the spot... so now...................

Ps. What the heck does OQP7 suppose to stand for Mr RAT?

G'day and Welcome Jablev2....

It was his ..........
.......Mandarin I had spared for smoko....... never the mind, It'll leave it's marks all the better on El Ratto's windscreen, and if I'm lucky, it may even go through:thumb_up:
So noticing that the Rat was still out turning me, I pulled into a 90degree turn, and soon got the Roag back into me sights, this time I had a double dose of petrol in the end of the spud gun, (the right end to I should add!) that with a push of the button, the shot was gone..........................
-
........ getting a climb rate of 1500ft/mn he soon had El Ratto in sight, doing continuos climbing loops (can be done in a Drifter, Believe it or not...! the aerobatic one though)
I loaded me spud gun with a nice juicy rotten spud, did a dive on top of El Ratto and fired................................

You know, that through all this arguing, or what ever you want to call it, it has really got some people thinking....... so although it may look bad, I think it's done a great deal of good to some..... and I've learnt a lot myself.......
So even though It's cheesed a lot of people off, (if I may put it that way) remember the Wright brothers were famous for arguing!;)

...splatt! cops one behind the ear from King Rat! who clearly has the fastest Jab in town....
Now Dotdash is really confused....... King Rat has the fasted Jab in town, but still only manages to hit "behind" the ear....!
...........anyway, the splatt behind the ear did the trick, and down I went.... only to awaken about 50ft off the ground. Coming quickly to my senses I kill the engine, slowly pulling out of the high speed dive, and with only inches to spare between the ground and the rubber circles... pphewww.... thought oneself that was close!
but joy of the King was only short lived because.............

Well let's get this show on the road ...errr... in the air! shall we............
Once upon a time, on a farm/town far away there was this banker who had a Cheetah. He was known around the world as Slartiabitfast but he had not much stamina and soon ran out of puff, so he called up his O'l mate Tubbz who happened to have a bit of Turbo in him, which as Turbo's usually do it got him back up to breathing real fast... soon he was leaving the Le Creppe behind chewing his slip stream and bits of red paint:keen:.... and we better not forget good old Avahlocks, who are...mmmm....came onto the radio demanding that he was getting woken up from his afternoon sleep because some hooligans where out screeming around in there jabiru powered machines making a heck of not much noise... (some people just can't see the fun side of things some time can they?...)
Then just when they think it was all over, Tomo busts through with speed slower than sound with his tow...nah...two stroke rotoryaxe at full steam, comes in from behind, lines up.... and...........................

Here's a few pictures from the Inglewood flyin yesterday...
I had a ball walking around, and watching different aircraft do there thing... the Highlight for me was probably the flight with Wayne Fisher in the Drifter, got to do some things I don't usually get to do in the training drifter!! Like rolls, stall spins, very low flying in and around trees... it was great!! (you missed seeing me Steve!!)
-
There was quite a lot of Savvy's at Inglewood today wasn't there Steve! Possibly, just possibly more than seven? (but they weren't "all" the good looking one's though were they!!!)Talking to Reg about this the other day, he suggested that the control tower might be a more acheivable vantage point for the photographer. -
And we all die of Swine flu in the process.....Don't they have paddle steamers at Echuca? Oh yes, in the Murray River. Adelaide people drink it.Seriously, this looks a good possibility for a low cost membrane plant, the sort used to purify sewerage from Class C to Class A.Sewerage contains pathogens, with the byproduct of potential fatalities from hepatitus etc, but the Murray at Echuca may not have that problem, and may be able to produce potable water.
If so, then it would be feasible to purify the Murray water, and it would be a good idea for you guys from Echuca to raise it as a GFC incentive for the town.

Ps. wonder why they came up with the name of swine? ain't that got something to do with pigs?!!

I think No.16 has to be the best one!!

"Does this mean that slartiglovepuppet is a banker?" asked .........
Tomo.........
You know it's probably true to! 'cause he fly's a cheettaaarrr (ain't that what some bankers do?)

Here's something like I was telling you about Destiny Flyer
And here's some reading on how, why and what to do for you...

You may wan't to fit a Ferrite Rod conductor things around your com wire on the aircraft... Available at most electronic places, Ie. Dick SmithsI have a set of these and have had to relegate them to the passengers set. From day one they produced feedback squeal on PTT. I had a technician familiar with them take a look however he could not come up with anything to solve the problem. The reason I couldn't send them back was they worked fine in another aircraft I tried and as the tech said they test fine. Interestingly I've noticed that I don't get the feedback if the voltage is down a bit as in before starting engine. I look forward to Clear Props new addition down the track.CheersDexter
Also It could have something to do with the alternator on the aircraft (electronic feed back). If it only does it when the engine is running, I can nearly guarantee you that's what it is...
-
Yeah, but the first problem is trying to catch them first...!!A Real bush pilot would just eat them surely...
For your own pleasure, ven-tury vacuums are great for cleaning out the dirt etc... in Tractors, ute's, trucks, and no doubt grubby aircraft! you just get a compressor in one end that blows the air the right way, and use the other end of the hose for sucking up the dirt, which then just goes straight back where it came from... (not much good if your in a concreted shed though) but yeah, it saves having to clean out and carry around a big vacuum cleaner all the time...
-
That's awesome! I'd have a go at that anytime, even if I get rocked to sleep a few times!
Have any of you guys seen Russell O'Quinn, the test pilot... he's now in his late seventy's or eighty's, but he still can handle testing jet planes to there full extent...
-
I C
-
Yeah, pretty nicely designed! wonder what speed it's cruises at?
-
COOOOMMMMEEEEE back Turb O.... why didn't you say something?

"What the (Heck) are you talking about, who the (Heck) are you to speak to me like that, and go ......
ranting on about nothing (but everything).... "It does make a good flowing story though, 'added Dotdash'' (talking about Dotdashing, did you see google yesterday? wasn't it cool!)
and you ain't gonna see me A SIC either, 'cause I just gotten over the last wog (not really, but it is rather a flowing story I thought;))
