  1. Thanks waraton. I am happy with the engine, which may outlast my service life but a backup is good to know of.
  2. On page 5 Of the magazine within subscription information it states that all members are subscribed.
  3. Sport Pilot magazine has arrived with voting material inside. Located eastern side of Melbourne.
  4. We don’t normally get mail on Saturday. Maybe you do. Cheers and stay relaxed.
  5. I visited East Kirkby two years ago and watched the Lancaster do her run ups then a taxi run. The seats on the taxi run were by invitation only requiring a substantial donation it seemed. Beautiful noises from the Merlins.
  6. Good find Marty, I have been trying to accumulate this information for some time.
  7. You have done well to continue with your reporting despite various setbacks. Keep it up Danny.
  8. Try a look at the Jabiru/Camit forum. You may find relatively local owners. main groups.io Group
  9. Is it possible, physically and/or in terms of regulations, to hang a non-Jabiru engine off the front of a Jabiru? There is experimental LSA ie ELSA within RAA a from memory
  10. From my limited experience 24 was the factory built now extended to 23 but not kits.
  11. I had mine factory refurbished 2008. The cost was $201 including credit card surcharge. Plus the cost of posting it to Sydney.
  12. Maybe COVID induced.
  13. Yes, I noticed that. Maybe the start of a new elite group
  14. This makes good reading for our sport for a change. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-08-08/aviations-saving-grace-the-rise-of-bush-pilots/12483726
  15. NZ MVP appears to be happily flying in New Zealand and VH DDS is supposed to be from Schofield Flying School I wonder which one it was.
  16. I also received my codes in less than 2 business hours. Well done to the aircraft registrar at CASA. Maybe I don't need this device but anything to improve my safety is a worthwhile investment to me.
  17. Sad news of one of our community. RIP
  18. I am not normally a supporter of Premier Dan but given the continuing spread of Covid in Victoria what do you suggest would be a better approach? Many citizens are too complacent with contributing to overcoming the situation and so it continued to fester. Better to strike a strong enforcement for six weeks than pussyfoot around for many months. I want to firstly survive the pandemic and importantly to me go flying. Under level three lockdown I could not get to my aircraft so getting serious with the situation to get a result is my choice.
  19. ABC reporting a helicopter clashing with power lines near Deniliquin.
  20. As there are reportedly 5,000+ members of AAPS, versus 500,000 specialist physicians in the USA, they are not reflecting the true medical community. Sounds very self serving to me rather than concerned with the truth and the community.
  21. Thanks Aro, I found it within cloth masks. As I was not looking at cloth masks as a retail source I did not read this section. I doubt that many domestic mask makers would incorporate a valve.
  22. However some masks have an exhaling valve which allows the wearer to breathe out their germs to anyone nearby. These have not been listed as unsuitable by the authorities.
