My second cousin, son of my first cousin, and a farmer, has written this poem to illustrate the conditions here.
The bank accounts are empty and the paddocks all quite bare,
The cows are looking skinny. There's no feed anywhere,
My youngest daughters 5 now, shes never seen it rain,
As i look up at the sky and wonder, will it ever come again,
My wife works at the pub now to put food on the plate,
The mortgage payments are non existent, or always very late,
I find myself quite lucky as every night l pray,
As the farmers from down south send up loads of hay.
This is much appreciated and helps us where it can,
But its not just me in this mess, its every other man.
Three generation farmers on this once thriving land,
But you city folk and pollies just never understand
You cut our prices to bits so the consumers have a win,
But you just don't get it do you that the shit that puts us in,
We bust our arse from dawn to dusk to try and make a gain,
But little does it help us without some bloody rain,
Three thousand head of cattle down to just thirty five,
And with no food or water how the hell can they survive,
I try to hold my head up when my wife and girls walk in,
And try to look all happy as i give them all a grin,
But the bank manager rang me and harsh words he did speak,
You must leave this property, you have but one more week
But how do l tell my wife and girls we have no where to live,
As i look them all in the eye and hope they can forgive,
As I put the last cows down in this battle i can no longer win,
And head up the paddock and place the gun under my chin,
As i close my eyes and think of my girls and beautiful wife,
And think that I'm so happy since they all came into my life,
But that's not enough to help me as I pull the trigger fast,
As the pain for me at least has left me at last.

To the other end of the scale, an item on tonight's Channel 7 News Melbourne about a lad who made his first solo today at YBSS, in a Piper Tomahawk, two days after his 15th birthday. Young lad named Farhad Ahmadi, hopes to be an Emirates pilot some day.

They are an acquired taste. Aficionados love them. Some owners post 4 or 5 photos of their pride and joy a week.

Wow. This thread slipped to page 5 of the What's New 14 Days. I think it's about time you gave us some answers, Kasper.
In the meantime, this one is not part of the quiz, I'll give you the answer. It is a rare Super V Bonanza with two 180hp Lycomings, not the Twin Bonanza (T-Bone). This photo came up on the Vintage Bonanzas Facebook page.

Needed clean underwear I reckon.

So do many other countries registers, to a greater or lesser extent. CASA conform to the normal practice:CASA, on the other hand, in an act of absolute arrogance, publish all details including name and address to the world on the internet.I use these facilities to verify the make and model of the photos I use in the thread "Guess This Aircraft".
I also use airport-data.com. When uploading a new registration to the database, the following information is sought. Owner and address can be loaded as "Private, Australia".

Google Satellite view Harden Airport/racecourse shows imagery circa 2018 but no markings on strip.

48 hours since a guess. Looks like you've bamboozled more than me this time, kasper.

Further to previous post, I've never ridden on a motorbike, even as pillion, and my boat experience is limited to Spirit of Tassie, Magnetic Is. ferry and Manly Ferry/hydrofoil. I've lived a sheltered life.

I know nothing about this class of aircraft, and a search of images of ultralights has not located anything like it, so I'm happy to leave it up to others. I also know nothing about trikes, PPC's, gyros, gliders, and for that matter, bikes and boats either.

Melbourne Airport is set for a major overhaul, including a new domestic terminal and a major refit of international facilities, as it prepares for the number of passengers to double in the next two decades.
A three-kilometre third runway, running east-west, will be opened in 2023. The existing east-west runway will also be lengthened by 2027.
The plan also outlined a fourth runway, running north-south, but it gave no time frame.
Melbourne Airport plans 'huge redevelopment' to cope with passenger boom

Yes, the yellow one is the T-Bird produced by Teratorn Aircraft of Clear Lake, Iowa.
The trike is a La Mouette 02B from France.
-
Marty, Have you read the posts?
-
Kasper, I have no idea about your machine. Maybe someone else can have a go.
-
mate. What plane are you training in, and whereabouts?
-
-
I'm shocked. A trike that kasper doesn't recognise. Anyone else want to have a go?
Also, any guesses on the question in post 1076?

Silly aviation pictures.
