Thanks Ian (though I am sorry if I added more work).Yes Capt...they can still request a reminder to an event and an email is automatically sent to the user at the "Time Before Event" setting they entered. The Attendance code was removed due to a conflict with some other code a while back however that can now be added back in so I will do that as well. -
It is possible for a forum member to still request a reminder for any event, and there used to be the capability for any member to signify in the Event description that they are interested or intend to attend, but that signification capability looks like it is no longer available. All the upcoming events are listed on the left of the Home Page and also at the bottom of the Forums Main Page -

When I built my 230 I went for a Powermate voltage regulator as an upgrade to what I considered to be a pretty basic unit that comes with the kit.
Am very happy with the result.
I put a Dynon 180 in mine and have not noticed any spikes or performance issues with the EFIS or any other of my electronics.
The Powermate is made here and I suggest that you check out their website and email to Klaus if you need more data.
I mounted mine to the firewall and the only extra provision was to take air from the rear of the intake duct on that side and direct it onto the cooling fins on the Powermate in a similar way that J do to cool the coils. There are some pics in the thread "J230 @ YSWG".
Hope this is some help.

Thanks Fellas.
No wonder a google search only turned up one ref to my substandard spelling (and that was a CASA document).
You got it, Fred. The word is that Wagga will go to CA/GRS for a year or 2 then to a Tower.
So from the posts, it is less than the Unicom we had here last year, and won't adversely effect an RAA Pilot's Ops until the Tower kicks in.
Appreciate your responses and apologies for my unsatisfactory spell check.
Now .... one sub-question. Under the present rules, if an RAA licenced pilot is operating at an airport where a Tower is established, does he (or she) get any leave pass to continue there, or must that Pilot move on immediately the Tower is activated.

Raa pilots and ca/grs
Can anyone please point me at where I can find the regs & practices associated with an RAA licenced Pilot operating into and at a CAGRIS at an airport?

STILL LOOSING WINGS - another killed

That is what forums are all about.
What I don't understand is that you make it sound like this was all resolved, done & dusted some time ago (someone described it as old-news) yet a pilot was killed in one, from what appears to be an in-flight breakup, just late last year.
When pilots are still being killed, you can hardly halt discussion.
