First lets start at Manufacturers recommendations - Rotaxservice.com - The Rotax 912 A/F/UL engines require a minimum octane rating of 87 AKI, commonly referred to as “regular” while the Rotax 912 S/ULS/ULSFR and 914 F/UL require a minimum of 91 AKI (“premium”). Some may have noticed that the Rotax manuals mention ratings of 90 and 95 respectively.

This article talks about the benefits for certain engines of increased octane fuels - https://www.mynrma.com.au/membership/my-nrma-app/fuel-resources/which-octane-petrol-is-best-for-you
I have only had aircraft with 2 and 4 stroke Rotax and was advised at schools and by peers to use 98 Octane even in 2 strokes with of course only Rotax recommended 2 stroke oil. When up there we all want an efficient clean fuel system and is this the only (but very good) reason for the higher than recommended octane usage, do any Aircraft engines have Valve Timing to utilise the denser fuel.
It can hover and go in any direction just as a drone and makes a lot of noise. would be good for mustering. maybe a couple more rotors to give redundancy
Hmmm... 2.6m companies, avg 3 directors, yearly renewal $100 = $7,800,000,000 p/a. Who ever thought that up is going to get a great bonus.

Renewing Blue Cards annually has required the applicant to report any Crimes etc by the applicant which may effect their qualification for the card. Teachers receive their invitation to renew each year which states if they do not renew and continue their activities that require them to hold the card, they will be liable to prosecution. Just a money grabbing activity.
ME TOO.
I think it is very important for them to get feedback from owners of basic aircraft, likes of PPC's, Drifters and other aircraft 'Open to the Elements' or basic electrical systems that may make installation of this type of equipment not possible.

While other Nations provide tax incentives to Electric vehicle purchasers Australia (Victoria) wants to tax EV's per km. Wrong attitude.
In 1942 My Dad was transferred from Adelaide River not long after the Bombing of Darwin to the Kurnell area to act as a Turk in the "40 Thousand Horseman". Better than being strafed and bombed for a few months.
135kg in 4 Batteries /4 = 33.75kg ea. Interesting what the voltage and AmpHr is.
I just swapped out a 100AH AGM at 32kgs for a 100AH Lithium 10kgs in my camper and installed a new Battery Management System. (Not making any comparison between my AGM and the aircraft Batteries) theoretically simply weight comparison with Lithium could see 1350AH at 12v. Mass may be an issue.
OME I watched the Documentary the other night, apart from the 4 minute period of charge the Investigation 80 years ago was pretty much on the money. I wonder why the skin was intentionally isolated from the frame with the dowel. Maybe not to discharge through ground crew handling the ropes ??
Ohh.... like a powered parachute on steroids, love just sitting out there above the world. Had a Quicksilver GT500 for a couple of years. QS are great build.
I actually like the Gossips, get it from Dan's about $24 for 6 bottles. They have red and white wines in all types i.e. Shiraz (my choice). Best thing no hangover.
Hi Mark,
With a stated Vc of 120mph = 104kts for the 912ULS would you expect cruise with the Big Bore Kit around 115kts. (Titan 180hp equiped is stated at Vc 155mph (135kts).
