My instructor gave me heaps of confidence,

BUT  ( always a But ) !.

When taking my flight test the senior instructor knocked it all out of me, never so nervous in the Foxbat even on my First day.

Light weight in the right seat & I lost a few kilos, so he said " I took of too fast ".

Different  words than what was used by my flight instructor, so did a touch&go instead of what he wanted. He told me I,m wasting his time & my money.

I tried to put into words the fact that " the AoA " is irrelevant, in that an airliner dropped vertically into the sea while still at a level attitude.

super powered aircraft can lift Vertical from the ground with zero forward motion and NO airflow over the wings. ( can't think of that name off hand). " jump jet"

The Komit rocket plane flies vertically quite a long way to it's target, ( yes it has airflow over it's wing ) 

were is the Maths in that deadly airliner disaster.

That explains why my  cousin & partners, (  all aged ) took an axe, and chopped up their Cessna for scrap metal.

Gave flying away, but I don,t know if they got rid of their boat, (  moored ar the Norfolk Broards ) that they took over to Europe for a months holiday annually.
