OME, thanks for your idea,s that spirit level is almost the same as old navigators used for taking star-site fixes..

I was questioning "stall" and angle of attack, surely it differs for greater speed over the wing.

Even F111,s don,t stall at maximum velocity when gaining altitude? .

I could be wrong. But all those rockets don,t seem to have a stall speed UNTILL spent.

I would need a Heater in cockpit, not airvents. LoL

My last flight training day it was a 40 c  at the Oaks.

I Did say "near vertical " as I don,t think they did vertica takeoff.

But very steep up to target, then power off to turn downwards for another shot at their target, and glide back to base.

Exerllent idea !.

BUT if the angle is near vertical, and your Big powerful motor, keeps your speed greater the the stall speed of said " rocket ",

Would you still stall ?.

German " Komet " rocket plane in mind.

Correction to my Rant ?.

I did sell my first car.

the new owner came back a couple of months late, claiming he was charged with " steering-track-rod-end & a ball joint ", for it's WOF (PINK-SLIP ) after getting under the car, I found he'd been ripped of.

So I called the cops, and that garage lost its WOF licence,

The new owner wasn.t even pleased.

That would have to depend on What Were & How you aquire those toys.

I built a Dingy, second hand materials, cost $ 10 or there ABOUTs.

I built a Larg ocean going yatch, mostly second hand, plus hand me downs.outlay less than $30,000.

I built 1.& a half aluminium aircraft, cost  (shuush don,t tell, the wife thinks it,s free ) 

Training ( FAILED ),  less than $ 5,000.

On going cost $20 ish a month for fuel AND my dream sits awaiting for it,s freedom to Soar like an eagle.

Cheaper than a car that cost $20,000, and $thousands a year in statitory fees, and thats just to park beside my Dream Bird.

AND I,ve never Sold anything. Always give them away.

PS: THE ENJOYMENT IS WORTH hundreds of thousands more than just watching others do their thing !.

Icing caused by moisture  ( without temprture ).

A few that made it harder to learn aviation.

Have tried since the age of fifteen, when I joined the Old AirTrainingCorpse.

It,s less than many, ( primer/undercoat/fillercoat/topcoat, and clearcoat. ) coats of paint.

ALSO

on many you don,t have to cover the entire area,.

If your gelcoat comes out of the mold, a shitti green color,adding streamers of contrsting vinyl will hide a hidious image.

Vinyl transfers are looking good and can be removed for another  " look " at a later date, or owner.

You wouldn,t need most of the 3,000 dyno hp.

 Or that massive RPM,

Depowered will definitely last a lot longer, but a drag car only needs 10 seconds of power, and doesn't even have a radiator.

As drag car,s go, Sainty lasts much longer than most of their competitors, befor it goes in the bin.

Those WAC charts are the Same as nautical charts with the same " index " chart to find your relavent area.

BUT all the road charts ( maps ) are All out by about a metre, and are being adjusted as I type !.

Lets be fair,

The only road vehicle that can tow a trailer WITH PASSENGERS,

Should be Registered And insured, so council can make a killing on taxing Pushbikes and their trailers! .

I have heard (maybe just a rumour ) that the  HKS 700E motor was recalled for a defect.
