    Wooden props are comparitly easy to laminate then, chop. Just like a laminated spar,  smaller length makes for easier lamination, 

    Only know of one person who made  home composite prop, ( said never again ).

    And for the very small outlay, easy to make different pitch props.

    It got me thinking ?, IF suspect mag was switched off, No reduction in revs. THEN switch OFF GOOD MAG and GOSH 

    NO BLUDI MOTOR.

    HELP, Mayday mayday mayday. engine out over water.

    It's all been done before. A Nice pair of Hatley Davison pots. A rotory engine, A tiny four pot . and a Large four pot two-stroke, McCulloch.

    Very interesting,

    Never thought about the weight difference in frg aircraft parts  ( inciuding carbon in frg ) 

    .

    Once saw a frg  life boat from the NZ Wahine that was  made like straw, quite thick but very lite in weight.

    Not much resin inside the skins, just loose long, chopped strand mat, the resin must have been drained out.

    I used to register my yacht before going coastal, BUT they changed things and wanted the Names & particular's of All aboard.

    So I gave that away and only informed coastal radio, while cruising. They are great, Far FAR better than Canberra.

    ( how is good canberra. took away High frequency radio that you would book customs while a day away from landfall, to short rang VHF, Just so they can hit you with a fine for Not Informing them you are coming in To Them , )

    I read somewhere that the Chinese were doing virus research in Canada but were told to go.

    Now another story has come to light that all is Not as we were told !.

    Same here with leaking batteries, also the stated life of NiCd batteries is no were near as the makers claim,

    The NiMi batteries don,t seem much better, the number of use,es that they claim soon passes with the few months of work.
