AND
A sailor, Bill Belchar (excuse spelling) had two EPIRB's, they both were faulty. He made world news after stranding on Middlton reef, then cutting the drougs off the liferaft, to drift within cooee of Queensland beaches before rescue.

I didn't say "I don't vote"
I voted for an individual, not a party,
Now we have to tick lots more boxes than we want to, Just to make it harder to vote for a particular person.
" Voting Below the Line If you choose to vote below the line you must put a number '1' in one of the squares below the line.
Then you must put the number '2', then the number '3', then '4' then '5' — all the way to number '15'.
You must number at least 15 squares for your vote to be counted. These numbers can be in any squares below the line.
Bludi polies can't let us vote for the one or two we think could be honest.

Well! there's two planes in Melbourne harbour, can't recall the make of them, but in the fifty's the HMS aircraft carrier did a flyover & two aircraft collided,
only a few years ago they found one with the pilot still in it & a placard was put in place

I can bitch as much as I like.

I read about a yacht y who found an island with lots of war supplies inside the hollowed hillside,
they stripped tons of copper wire to sell when they got home, possibly aircraft parts there as well,

As see it:
You are not forced to vote , but to get your name ticked off the registered list,
then tear up the paper & put in in the bin, without voting for any parasite.

I was told that Casa tells RAA what to put into the test, then the clubs interpret that their own way, and then the instructors can put their own twist onto the final bit the student has to pass.
For someone with very little schooling it doesn't give any hope for getting that elusive pass.

Is that a NEW certificate we have to carry now, as I 've never heard of it before, and if legally required. Were do we get it.
And how much will it cost.

Rotax, AC feeds the battery on most setups, so you would only need to isolate the battery supply to your CD ignition units,
Like a couple of diodes and chokes in the supply wire, smoothing the AC spikes out.

Here's a good one, I now use my ANR headphones when mowing the lawn, just plug in a radio and away we go.

What is "Current/valid RAAO membership" .
RAA not good enough now, plus your flying club membership too.

FC,
I failed my exam, that one question ruined my chance to fly.
There is no question about water freezing, but in recreational aviation opposed to civil aviation that one is wrong in all aspects.
I understand that jumbo's can get fuel moisture freezing at tens of thousands of feet altitude, but the test is not about civil aviation, they don't use carburettors at that altitude.
I have no interest in weighing pax in a commercial plane, then having to calculate the fuel load in Gallons/LBs/liters, so why is it part of the test, is beyond me,

My bad exam question was "what causes icing" , Answer: moisture:
Which means Darwin is a very bad place to fly with it's super high moisture content.
With questions like that I've no chance of passing the BAK test.

WoW That went up a lot, they said it was in the millions earlier, but no takers and had to drop the price, ( something about a death).
Looked at your link and that's it, the news crew gave the starting price of $450,000

How about a whole town in Queensland, saw it on the morning news. $450,000
