Lots of people think, "when they see a two engined or four engined airplane, they don't see the generator turbine under the tail, that makes it a three or five motor craft.

I hear Darwin can & doe's get to 90% moisture.
Stand still & still sweat, LoL
Would your fuel (petrol) in your RAA aircraft Not freeze at 40 degrees below zero. when waiting the antarctic ATC takeoff order.
Just looked at a Canadian HummelBird , that has it's cylinders shrouded, because of their low temperatures.

Not just them,
I asked on This forum about a pilot that crashed his HummelBird,
Dead silence,
almost deafening
I still don't know if Ron is OK,

"Why don't we work of what the regulations actually say? "
Because the Bureaucrat's have made it to be so hard, you will, have to employ legal "experts" to solve the dilemma of LAWYER-SPEAK.

"Watch out Spacesailor they will be onto you..
With:------(Where is your evidence?)????????????
KP "
Evidence ?
The Fact they took payment, issued a interim registration number, then said NOT in that category 10-xxxx.
Or the Test question, "What causes Icing" ,answer: "Moisture in the air"
That makes Darwin prone to icing and Mcmurdo valley in the antarctic, quite safe from the dreaded icing problem.
Other's have stated to go 19.xxx or VH, but I did NOT need a build log or preclosure inspection, or photographic build evidence for the car 95-10,
that was the go at the time, of which I had abundance.
So who to get a flight certificate with, without going back to the RAA Bureaucrats.

It Must be an "enjoyable" job, One instance:
Two RAA pilots, one a student, other an instructor, hired the club plane from Sydney to WA to do a job, enroute did passenger & cross-country endorsements.
They enjoyed their time away, and were payed for it.

I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments.
"I don't see RAA (the body) being around in this format over the next say 4 or 5 years. It is badly run, as usual and always has its hand out and dose not deliver.
About time for a new model that is fun and works for its members and holds the line against CASA."
I don't think my meagre pittance is missed, as much as I miss flying.
I'ts awaiting game to see who folds first.

"In some cases those earlier designs might have originally been +6, -3g designs that are working nearer to +4, -2g already (at 600kg). So someone just declaring a new weight of, say, 750kg and not severely limiting the Vne and Va, might be risking losing their wings on a turbulent day ... I'm concerned even more for the unsuspecting second owner who comes along a few years down the track."
So, how can casa's limited "wing loading" make a Safer aircraft ?.

I don't know the speed of a Mooney.
Most drones I've watched are almost stationery.
Mooney's must fly at 225 MPH.
Hummel bird's only 140 MPH

Silly question?.
When adding a glass altitude /airspeed, panel. can you use the same pitot, with a splice T piece in the line.
Or have to provide a separate pitot to each.
( was going to ask at Narromine, but decided to keep quiet)

I thought it was a great effort by all.
I was also looking for Bolly, or the other prop maker's, Must have been hiding,
A big plane was parked in-front of the viewing area, and us wobbly legged oldies had to sit on the grass to see around it.
The phone camera isn't as good as a zoom-lens camera for aerial shots.

Coal when used to fire steel foundry's. made high carbon steel.
Oil on the other hand puts sulphur in, and soon rust's when exposed the elements.
Every one say's the old steel last's longer, New rusts quicker.

Not much hope for me then.
Five years schooling from go to working for a living.
Always said "ten's of lawyer's write our law's" just so we can't understand what they mean.
Leaves most of us at a disadvantage when in a court of law.
The UK has a law for every thing we do, and if a baby could read at day one, it would die of old age Before getting to the end, of all those said laws

I didn't even know about "The beach" to watch the planes, or even to park, while waiting for incoming passengers!.
It's a great site.
