Everyone is desperate to get on the property ladder...
-
Uncle Eugene's financial analysis was always a bit "thread bare" compared to Sue's actual analysis.
-
Thanks for that.
Those numbers are pretty shocking. The exec has been dysfunctional for a long time.

Teckair I don't own a 95:10...

Sounds like what you have invented is an Aerochute? No argument with that but you still won't be joining the others having fun landing on soft beaches and rough paddocks. -
CASA wants LSA?
-
our budget for our legal action is $100k. finding that sort of money isn't easy.
-
start another AUF is your only option.
-
how did you calculate the strength of the design?
-
The problem is the 95.10 ppl won't get off their bums and start their own organisation. its the only VIABLE solution.
-
Well, they are probably going to do nothing other than wait for someone else to do something for them. Which won't happen. Just takes one person to start something and that person won't be you.all the old school i know want out of the RAAus not more involvement. How are they going to achieve that? Stop flying? Fly illegally? -
You can put a Jab 2200 in T1 and they get off the ground very quickly.
-
people forget nothing will change until you affect change. rag and tubers are just sitting on their hands waiting for someone to save them
-
If I was you i would door knock the area and get signatures supporting the air field. show that to your mayor. do you how are they getting the money to pay for the legal fees?
-
i am a member of a community action group that is trying to stop a 24 hr mcdonalds.
-
The problem with the STOL planes is you need a tonne of power to go places fast, which rules out cheap. You have to live with compromises. You can put a T1 on a trailer, just need a longish one to fit it on. The wing is 20' and the fuselage 19'3". Takes two people but that's reason to be a club. T1 is still a 150-300 hours of work which is 1/2 the time for a Sonex or a Zodiac.

The exec benefit the most if the meeting descends into chaos...

Sh!t US Jabiru owners say:
What I have found on my 3300 and one other one is that there was a fair amount of rust in the cylinders which probably occurred on the trip over on the boat. I honed mine out before I ran it, and am glad I did as the piston to cylinder clearance was anywhere from .002 (too tight for an air cooled engine) and .005" I was surprised at the difference. I honed them out to .004" (except for the larger one). Both engines were older solid lifter ones, and maybe that could be a difference as well.
A little extra clearance won't make it quit on you, but too tight could.
That quote is from the Sonex list discussing oil coolers. Quality issues? What quality issues.

The RAA is the vehicle for GA pilots who want to fly on an ultralight budget. That's what people want unfortunately.

in Governing Bodies

they have a over a million in the bank. Although if a class action against the RAA ensues by the owners of grounded aircraft the RAA could be toast.
