And all along I thought a guernsey was a cow:scratching head: No bull!Wait for it...I can here a certain Recreational Flying user's brain ticking over in forming a comment..................................................(guernsey) -
There comes a time when a woman just has to trust her husband...
For example...
A wife comes home late at night, and quietly opens the door to her bedroom.
From under the blanket she sees four legs instead of two.
She reaches for a baseball bat and starts hitting the blanket as hard
as she can.
Leaving the covered bodies groaning, she goes to the kitchen to have a drink.
As she enters, she sees her husband there, reading a magazine.
"Hi Darling", he says, "Your parents have co me to visit us, so I let
them stay in our bedroom. Did you say "hello"?

The Mk 24 with the Griffin 85, had a two stage supercharger and pumped out a massive 2120hp at 12,250ft.2000 hp - does the REAL spitfire have 2000 hp under the hood? The second stage enabled it to climb to it's service ceiling of 43,000ft and 454MPH flat chat.
As the Rolls Royce salesman would say---------
"If you have to ask about the fuel consumption? I'm sorry Sir, but can't really afford one, you'd better stick with the Jabby 2200 motor"

I would certainly not wish to have ever witnessed what you did mate.I have contacted the police today and offered my account of what I saw and photos taken just prior to the accident. I have my opinion on what happened and why but it is exactly that. Only my opinion. I have read of an explosion just before. I have read of structural failure. I have read that the aircraft was performing aerobatics. All in my opinion are wrong. As I have said this is only MY opinion. The thing that is certain is we have lost another aviator and that is a tragedy. There is another air show coming up in a few weeks in the Barossa Valley. I will have to decide if I still want to attend.I won't even bother to ask how you're sleeping of late.
However, i'd seriously listen to Motz's wise words, because sadly he's experienced what you went through first hand.
Try and keep your chin up.
Kind regards

Lion Air unveils order for over 230 Airbus jets
Indonesian carrier Lion Air is ordering 234 Airbus twinjets, including 174 from the re-engined A320neo family.
Its firm agreement covers 109 A320neo and 65 A321neo, and will also feature 60 current A320 jets.
They will be delivered over 2014-26. Airbus values the agreement at $24 billion at catalogue prices.
"The fuel-efficient A320 Family will enable Lion Air to achieve the lowest possible operating costs and continue to offer the most competitive fares in the Asian region," says Lion Air chief Rusdi Kirana.
"This landmark order will ensure that the Lion Air group will continue its expansion with one of the most modern and advanced fleets in the world."
Lion Air has been a loyal Boeing customer, and had previously unveiled a deal for over 200 737 Max aircraft, as part of an agreement for up to 380 737s.
The question I can't help asking myself after reading this is?
If Australia is giving huge sums of money annually in aid to Indonesia (one report I just read mentioned $3.8 last year, which could double in the next 4yrs). I was wondering whether you feel that we are simply contributing to paying for the likes of 27.6 of these new jets at todays rates, and are we getting good value for our contributions.
Or, would the money go to fund the countrys real issues, such as millions living in povety and lack of educational facilities, which the pollies would probably like us to believe it's going towards?
We have thousands of un-invited arrivals from that general area, and if Indonesia could see their way to donating some of that $24billion to Oz, Qantas could refurbish some of their aging fleet so more Ozzies could fly to places like Bali, and spend money to help their economy, apart from money to finance protection of our borders:amazon:
Yes this post is aviation related:plane:.

My sexy Chinese neighbour told me she was desperate for a "roger".
It was only when I had my trousers round my ankles, that I realised that what she actually wanted, was to rent out her spare room!!

OMG that brings back memories of my first TIF in a Mk 5 at the grand age of 20 at Shoreham UK, (almost half a century ago, thats B.S).. Anyway, I did enjoy it, even if I did feel that I wanted to puke and change that horrible fumey smell in the cockpit!

So good to see you posting again, seems ages. Look forward to more when your commitments allow you a bit of time for yourself. It looks okay! I have not yet had the pleasure of greasing my wheels onto either of the strips there yet! -
Sound like good judgement to me. If there was more of this attitude, this thread wouldn't have so many sad posts.

Welcome to the forums Dan.
"Strike while the iron's hot" they say.
Many of us have spent too much time hesitating to embark down that road, and before you know it age gets in the way.
Good luck with your training.
Keep us posted, we're all interested.
Kind Regards.
