Let us know how your first flight went ( we're not really all inverted) if thats what you thought before you arrived.

CHINESE HOSPITALITY
The Chinese have been trying to push tourism to China to greater heights. So the government has asked all hotels, tourist guides and restaurants to provide all best possible services and proper guidance to tourists and learn English. The hotels have now adopted a professional approach to attracting and guiding tourists – of which the following welcome letter provide a few examples.
WELCOME LETTER
Getting There
Our representative will make you wait at the airport.
The hotel bus runs along the lake and you will feel pleasure in passing water.
You will know the hotel is near, because you will go round the bend.
As you come into the hotel, our beautiful manager will offer welcome drinks
and then have intercourse with all new guests.
The Hotel
This is a family hotel, so adultery and children are welcome.
Nurses are available in the evenings to put down your children.
Guests are invited to mate in the bar and expose themselves to others.
It is good to have intercourse with others and become fast friends.
But please note that ladies are not allowed to have their babies in the bar.
With our help they can be delivered in the baby center.
We organize social games, so no guest is ever left alone to play with himself.
Your Room
Every room has excellent facilities for your private parts.
In winter, every room is on heat.
Each room has a balcony offering views of outstanding obscenity.
All your needs are from room service.
Please feel free to ring for the chambermaid and take advantage of her.
Hospitality
When you leave us at the end of your holiday, you will struggle to forget it.

Sad news, that was a great place to unwind over a good meal.

Your right on the button, well done flyvulcan!
A globe Swift GC-1B designed way back in 1946, what a sleek looking aircraft, that had a cruise speed of 122knts, service ceiling of 18,000ft, range 1000 nmi's. on a 6 cyl 125hp Continental C125.
I'll see what else I can find to stir members memories.

From the sad crash incident to where you've got now, I just want to wish you all the encouragement you need, the progress you've made is an inspiration to others, and I wish you all the best.
The saying goes something like "The numbers of times one trys and and has a failure, but keeps trying is surely to bring ultimate success".
Good onya.
Kind Regards

Like blokes, everything seems to head South in time, to admire our new shoes or something.
Never our new hat:no no no:

I have a little karioke machine and just started singing again after xxx years. I too went through a periond of getting nightly calls mainly with an Indian accent. As soon as they started, I started singing the Jim Reeves song "Put your sweet lips a little closer to the phone, lets pretend we're all alone"--------
Haven't heard from them for 2 weeks now:yikes: other than what sounded suspiciously like "bloody blimey" at the end of one call.
How ungrateful can they get?

Now that it is official that our CLAYTONS PRESIDENT has eventually fell on his sword, which had to happen sooner or later, as sure as night follows day, does anyone know who is ACTING PRESIDENT or is the ship sailing along without a CAPTAIN at present in unchartered waters?

We have our very own Captain, who i'd be happy to back.

Now that could be real interesting!
Sounds like a step forward, without the 2 steps backwards:spot on:
Go Ross go.
-
That was so interesting!
There's a lot more to this site than cross-winds and failing bolts.
Thanks for posting the info O K
Kind Regards

Keep yer chin up Motz.
The past few months must have been more than trying for you, and others that were present at Jaspers.
Kind Regards

PS If you get roped into any class action, your evidence alone would surely have to carry a bit of weight.

I had a very sad reminder of this incident today, when a bus trip I was on, decided at the last minute to stop at Panorama House for morning tea.
Knowing what happened, the evidence can still be clearly seen along with a few floral tributes.
I can tell you it really upset me, and I could'nt get out of there quick enough.
There should have been plenty of room to land clear of the trees, but that did not happen, and nothing can change that now.
So pleased to hear that casa has finally got it's ass into gear re: the long overdue modifications.

I was listening to the radio this morning when the host invited callers to reveal
the nick-names they had for their wives.
The best call was from a brave chap who called his wife "Harvey Norman"
The Host asked him, “Why that name?”
He replied, "Absolutely no interest for 36 months.”-

So would I have, the weather looked great. Thanks Planey. I reckon we need to thank blokes like you because without the good old days of development we would not have the state of the art gyros we have today. It was just a fun boys trip and it's hard to beat open cockpit flying when the weather is really good. Did some flight demos in the M24 but mostly flew the M16 on this trip. Loved it!I always wanted one that fitted in a suitcase( for someone else to carry)
, like "Little Nellie" in the James Bond movie:smile: -
The beach sounds a better option Mike, but looking at the photo it looked like nothing but tiger country.

Very lucky to walk away from that one.
Somewhat similar to the Wedderburn strip and maybe others with trees all around, where you pray that the fan keeps turning.
We know that a turn-back is no no, but from the pics it looks like there may not have been too many alternatives, depending on what height the fan stopped, if that was the main problem.
Unfortunately we don't normally get to hear, so are really none the wiser.
The most important outcome, is that they managed to walk away from it, but probably the majority are not so lucky in similar circumstances.
Time to buy a lottery ticket, me thinks!

That looked great Jeff, loved the video, wish i'd been in the back seat.
They've obviously come a long long way since the days I started to build a Benson with a Vee-dub motor.
Mind you that gives them about 45yrs to make a few improvements.
Kind Regards

Now that would be worth putting on youtube.
Maybe we could hack it, so your clip immediately follows the first one
