  1. Whilst i'm no doubt guilty too of a bit it of the boy's thing. We should consider that there are ladies on here, and we're not just having a boys chat in the barbers shop. Sorry ladies, you have to be considered in the right context too..
  2. Naughty Boys! Did you notice whether the carby was on heat, or just the PIC?
  3. G'day and:welcome:. Keep in touch and let us know how you progress.
  4. Which is why this video clip has to be considered before booking flights.
  5. Sounds like you could be suffering from Storchy Syndrome, KP's prognosis, Jabby Jitters, or Planey Problems. Not good at all, but never feel you are the only one. Didn't mention PMC, he's probably sleeping:sleep:
  6. With a name like the CEO has, i'm sure it will be a :plane:success:wink:
  7. Very nice! Bet you're glad you got back into it. Looking forward to next video.
  8. Hi and welcome. The Superstol looks to be a real fun aircraft, but I would imagine it's one where the PIC has to be really on top of his game to handle it's capabilities in full. How far have you got with the build?
  9. This was a great bit of kit that saw at Long Marston during my visit a few weeks ago. You possibly know the guy as there wouldn't be too many models like it. Rgds Planey
  10. Excellent stick work. The guy with the camera did OK too!
  11. Honky. Unfortunately times have changed, In years gone by, if you were interested in flying, and you made it known to the flight crew and requested to have a look in the Captains Office, you'd often get invited up on the flight deck. I've spent many hours chatting to the crew whilst seated in the jump seat, but unfortunately 9/11 and other incidents killed that off, so it's now a thing of the past. So when you come back to Oz, you'll probably have to remain in your designated seat:sad: Good luck with your future training.
  12. And Tony hasn't stopped smiling since.
  13. Whatever transpires from necessary forthcoming changes, we are so damn lucky to have had this wonderful site at our disposal for so many years. We have gained knowledge and mate-ship with others through the sharing of information, mainly as a result of the hard work by one man for which we are all very grateful. Thanks Ian:clap: I'm sure whoever is interested enough to be involved in running this site, will have one intention in mind, and that is to aim to keep it in the same high standard that you have set, to be a valuable source of information to be enjoyed by all. Kind Regards Planey
  14. Molmo MF1-9 built in Sweden in the 60's. Also made under licence as the Bolko BO 208. Spot on kasper, you just beat me to it.
  15. Like this one I photographed in the UK 3 weeks ago. A nice toy if your pockets are deep enough? Also got some great shots of it at altitude with cloud background. It looked just like the real thing.
  16. Once again, Nev got it right.
  17. Hi, and welcome. I bet you're missing that J 3 Cub.(and possibly family too).
  18. Looks like a lack of knots to me. Lucky outcome though!
  19. At no time your honor, were her lips witnessed as being on the edge of the supposedly opened can. Furthermore, I would add, that even if that were the case, I have yet to to find a person who could honestly confirm whether it was empty or not, simply by viewing the side of it. It is my opinion, that she was either promoting a good local brewery from her electorate at the time the said photograph was taken, or simply posing for the photo to wind up the aspiring opposition from Toowoomba:wink:
  20. So FT, do you really know whether Ashby was working as a commercial pilot? The question is, did they have one tent, or two? It also looked like bright daylight when they were drinking those Bundy's, so they ought to be OK for a midday departure the following day. I was always told, minimum 12 hrs between bottle and the throttle. My instructor never mentioned cans.
  21. Time fly's, hopefully, like the rest of it.
  22. Great job! Ballroom dance classes now eh? Seriously, WOW!, should be able to achieve a lot with that work space. Good luck, you thoroughly deserve it.+ a day off.
  23. Some British Eagle Britannia's had seats facing the rear of the aircraft. I came back from a holiday in Spain in one configured that way.
  24. That's so sad to hear.
