There is a standard one however I used my own version of "McDonalds" i.e. Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions - all on a sesame seed bun
Two all-beef patties - Hatches and Harness (2 pax)
special sauce - Oil
lettuce - Temp (Lettuce is 99% water)
cheese - Brakes
pickles - Carby Heat
onions - Fuel
all on a sesame seed bun - Undercarriage
I just simply found the connection to the Big Mac was for some reason easy for me to relate to so the point is...find one that you are really comfortable with and seems to to simply slip off the tongue

With my CT I could either register it LSA with 600kg MTOW and controlled by the factory OR 544kg MTOW and controlled by me and RAAus...both would have had the 24 rego so correct if I am wrong but are you all saying that some aircraft can ONLY be registered LSA and NOT 544? Because it seems the groundings of many aircraft all seem to be LSA registered ones (caveat, I am still asleep when typing this)

Good luck Jim, I have already sent my vote off in the mail

Welcome Mick...great choice with the Morgan...there are many Morgan owners here on the site

One of the benefits of the way that I have set the site/resource up is that we not only have a group of hard working fantastic moderators (who even moderate me at times) but also a a couple of very highly skilled Mentors that step in and help steer threads in a subtle way...all this, along with user's posts, help to make threads somewhat self moderating to a point that the correct answer does come out. Sure someone may post a video of some kind of illegal flying however throughout the posted comments that follow, it is brought out that it is illegal flying and thus we are acting intelligently as a community of like minded individuals who really only want to see the right thing done for our fellow aviators.
I like the comments in this thread that say we should also be looking at how many lives this site has saved, and there are many. But not only lives saved but also the extra knowledge in proper maintenance and enhancing our flying skills are all so evident when looking at the site as a big picture rather then any small isolated incidence of inappropriate posting which does, almost always, eventually gets cleared up with accurate and more helpful information...whether the reader is a new starter or a highly skilled individual, and it must be noted that in our chosen field of recreation, we are always learning.

The Advanced Search Function is now installed and working like a dream...for example you can now do explicit searches like the phrase "divert to parkes" and out of the currently 200,000 posts, it will find one post with that explicit phrase (oops, now 2 because of this post). Before it wouldn't recognise the word "to" and the search function would return every post with the words "divert" and "parkes" in it even if the post contained the text "I enjoyed the parkes after I had to divert to Melbourne". I hope this will provide all registered site users with a far greater and more specific searching ability to find exactly what you are looking for quicker and easier.
NOTE...The search function using this great new Enhanced Search Feature is only available to logged in registered users of Recreational Flying

A couple of years ago Recreational Flying held a Flyin at Camden Haven up near Port Macquarie NSW. On the Saturday evening we were all guests for dinner at the Port Macquarie Flying Club. I asked CASA to attend and give us a presentation on Human Factors as it was at the time when RAAus was introducing HF into their syllabus.
At the evening, the CASA representative played a video and at AusFly I was talking to the CASA people about it. They were able to steer me to where I could find it again so here is the video...the Human Factors Basket Ball Video
NOTE, IF YOU DON"T KNOW ABOUT THE HUMAN FACTORS BASKET BALL VIDEO, THEN PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO BEFORE READING ANY POSTS...VERY IMPORTANT

Update...
The new Advanced Search Feature should be installed in a few hours time (the night of Thur 4th Oct).
The Recreational Flying Chat Room is installed however it is just waiting for the new licence file to be provided but the developers are having a national holiday week

The TV Station is installed however there is a lot of work still needed in making it presentable for all screen resolutions, so this will be a couple of weeks away.
No update on the new Recreational Flying Google Earth Air Fields Feature

The Kannad PLBs in the Recreational Flying Shop will transmit for 24hrs which I thought was a requirement of PLBs. Naturally an enormous amount of impact or fire will prevent them from working for that 24hr period...or in water...that's why I like the Kannads as they will continue to transmit in water as they float vertically on their own. I would guess that fire damaged terrain would have been spotted by now.
It is all taking far too long however there is always hope...and that's what I am doing!

Could be why the Dornier is so highThey got 14 choppers going now -

Hi All
I have just added the Flight Radar Web Site to the Resources menu here at Recreational Flying. Click on "Resources" on the main menu and then "Flight Radar" on the sub menu.
Once you scroll around the map and go to the location that you want, it will automatically default to that location each time you return to the Flight Radar page.
A quick link to it is:
