planedriver Posted Friday at 05:50 AM Posted Friday at 05:50 AM Building one of these suits my pensioner budget. Haha! Not sure it would meet Nev's full approval. 🤔 1 3
Marty_d Posted Friday at 05:53 AM Posted Friday at 05:53 AM Love the struts. She'd certainly make a unique sound in the air. 1

How about the nose wheel shimmy at 23.23, better than dancers from the 1960's Edited Friday at 06:06 AM by planedriver 1 1
Marty_d Posted Friday at 06:04 AM Posted Friday at 06:04 AM On the positive side, if he filled it with those styrofoam beads just like a normal Amazon package, it'd be pretty safe in a crash! 1 2

onetrack Posted Friday at 08:11 AM Posted Friday at 08:11 AM Wow, I can see some real potential there! Fill all the open spaces with expanding styrofoam, paint the outside of the cardboard with some Dulux Weathershield, and you're in with the winners! 😄 Crashproofing due to the styrofoam, waterproofing due to the Dulux, all that's needed is to ensure triple-wall cardboard is in the fuselage and wing spars! 😄 Have you seen how strong triple-wall cardboard is, and how durable Dulux Weathershield is?! Fantastic stuff! This thing will outlast the Gooney Birds! 😄 2 3
onetrack Posted Friday at 12:57 PM Posted Friday at 12:57 PM I like one of the comments on Peter Sripol's Instagram page - "One time my dad asked about you in the car, and he was surprised to hear that you were still alive!" 😄

onetrack Posted Friday at 11:10 PM Posted Friday at 11:10 PM Nothing that a couple of dampening springs wouldn't fix! I'm surprised, that with Peter Sripol reportedly having engineering qualifications, that he didn't work that little problem out.

Supprised to see lack of sponsorship advertising on side of fuselarge. ie Grace Bros Removals, Kellogs Corn Flakes and the like. Maybe on the Mk2 version? 1

onetrack Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Don't forget! - they use piles of cardboard boxes for the stuntmen to land in, when they make those fabulous leaps, from the tops of big buildings!
