onetrack Posted Tuesday at 02:46 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:46 AM What the hell was he doing? He was carrying too much speed for satisfactory landing, and failing to flare. Whoever qualified that pilot, needs to be re-assessed as an instructor.
facthunter Posted Tuesday at 03:06 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:06 AM Nosewheel first is a no no. Assuming there was a strong headwind, less flap would have reduced the Nose down attitude also.. Much too much speed. Nev 1
skippydiesel Posted Tuesday at 06:29 AM Posted Tuesday at 06:29 AM Agree with above comments however no one mentioned what must have been a very high wind situation, possibly a short runway and a significant up slope. None of which excuses the nose wheel first touch down.😈 1

facthunter Posted Tuesday at 09:42 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:42 PM It's real and there's no upslope as you can see whitecaps on the water nearby. Perhaps it was a downhill approach and it went way past the designated touch down markers and should have gone initiated a Go-around' by then. Nev 1
