  1. I have a new T3 tail wheel shock. I believe the new cost is $1415 AUD plus shipping plus tax. I purchased this 12 months ago and believe it to be the current model. Its now surplus to my needs. If I can get $1000 AUD for it that would be great. I will post as well at that price. If I'm wrong about the pricing please inform me as It came with my kit. Thanks Lyndon Kitfox T3 Tailwheel Suspension – Alaska Gear Company https://alaskagearcompany.com/products/kitfox-t3-tailwheel-suspension?srsltid=AfmBOorqKptDMIcEBs_zc6Pjo8Yz72uJSsJHy9rsGoLaJkMp9jqOJfyl
  2. I'm one of the not so traditional colour types. It will be very contemporary. Im liking the Areo ones from Aircraft Spruce. One on the tail and one underneath makes perfect sense. Maybe even some leds in a wig wag for the frontal. Funny about the jeep. I had a wk2 Diesel for 10 years. Just for rid of it for a Cherry. Lyndon
  3. So you think it's nice a bright??? I like the sound of something cheap. Lyndon
  4. Any advice on a nice bright strobe I can fit to my tail. Experimental ! I see aircraft spruce have them starting around $150. I don't want buyers remose, as I have no idea. Will a cheap one work or do I pay the big money. I want to buy it once and I want it bright. Thanks Lyndon
  5. I have some experience in a C210. Lovely plane, a real work horse. You talk about being tail heavy. Its really easy, with a grader blade inside the C210. You push the tail onto the ground, if it comes back up your good to go. Lyndon
  6. That's a no I take it Now don't shoot me. $13 a foot for the 400. The Chinese stuff is like $1 foot. It's just TV Ariel cable right ???? The $8 NMC connectors vs the $1 Chinese ones ??? Lyndon

  8. A fair bit. Around 16 feet. Thanks for the offer but I just bought it. Thanks Lyndon
  9. Thanks
  10. My transponder antenna and G3X antenna. Experimental aircraft. $20 vs $250. Happy to pay the extra if needed. Thoughts Thanks Lyndon
  11. It has a built in wass and GPS apparently Lyndon
  12. I think the GTX has it all inbuilt. Only one connection for an XPDR anttena Lyndon
  13. I have the transponder for the GTX. That was simple. The G5 has nothing? Just confused with what to buy for the G3X. Lyndon
  14. After researching and talking to suppliers I'm still not convinced what to order Any advice??? My number one pick is the GA35 at this point. There is also a cheaper option that sits on top of the instrument panel. Someone who has been down this road, your advice would be a great help. It's not IFR, has a G5 and a GtX45r and of course the G3. Thanks Lyndon
  15. Anyway I look at it in another light. It's a safety item that may save my life. Lyndon
  16. It was a flippent joke 🤣
  17. I'm sure it's the least of my issues Lyndon
  18. Kitfox. I don't intend on having the aircraft long-term. The next buyer may want it. If they wig wag I think 5, if not definitely 4. I've decided on two wires just for lights. ( Not used) I will have star burst LED under the plane installed and leave it at that I'm thinking. Thanks Lyndon
  19. Thanks
  20. Im pre wiring my wings and fuselage for a tail and wing tip lights. In not running any lights but want the wire for future proofing for LED lights Do I need some or all shielded. 20awg with 4 to 5 wires in each run. Any advice would be great Lyndon
  21. Now that makes sense. I believe the G3X does the same thing and you feed some trim in manually. I will get it, as It also solves the relay issues with both sticks using the trim motor. Thanks Lyndon
  22. I have a Yaw, Roll and Pitch servo in my Kitfox S7. The Roll and Pitch servos can be hooked up to electric trim if your aircraft has it, mine only has a trim on the Pitch. It's wired through 11,12,13,14 on the servo and runs through an expensive electrical box, then to the electric trim motor on the horizontal stabiliser. So it can command the trim motor as it requires, I'm guessing to save on load on the GSA28. With the auto pilot on or off I believe I can still manually trim via the stick through the eclectic trim. Finally my question. This is an option so do I need it. It's about $600 bucks. Thanks Lyndon
  23. Yes it's an option. It holds an aluminium strip to a wooden rib. Thus gentle aluminium rivet I'm guessing. Lyndon
  24. I'm after pull rivets as per the pic ? Lyndon
  25. 10 would be great. Of course I will pay for the postage and the rivets. Thanks Lyndon
