    Just make them, get someone to tack some nuts over a hole in some plate, then cut the plate to shape and drill the locating holes to requirement. You only need 2.

    Fair 'nuff, all but one, old RV3 mostly built scratch from plans by the owners, unlike todays kits. None of that sways my opinion on the proven safe number of hours of normal flight flown in RVs. Considering how many average people with no 'Man Shed' experience at all building them, I would say their record is exceptional. I think if you get into aerobatics, you take your chances.

    The amount of Vans flying with similar wing construction, i.e. near 10,000 of them, makes this an anomaly. Never heard of a Vans primary structural failure before. Either a major mistake while building it, a serious flaw in a material or some sudden extreme G load.

    Sadly a similar loss of families, a family of 5, Mum, Dad, 3 sons, and a family of 4. Mum, Dad, Son and Daughter.

    That's what happens when everything inflates for so long that no body can purchase it any longer so the price increases slow down. Yup, horrific results for the general population. There's a large percentage of young people now who will never be able to afford a house, not that they can afford the current rents either. Seems moot to me anyway, so what if your house increases in value, sell it and you have to buy someone else's house that has also increased in value. It's all for the bank's benefit, your house goes up in value and you can loan more against it, no one else is winning except the banks (and Council rates).

    Ticket and signalman on a local train here fell asleep and missed a red signal causing the train to crash and a few people died. The Prosecution took him to Court and got the death penalty by electric chair. They stuck him in the chair at midnight, pulled the switch and 'crackle, bang, crackle', sparks everywhere but the guy came through unscathed. I guess it's because he was a bad conductor.

    Trust me, it's money, eg: landing fees, hangarage, etc. What is good is whereas some Western company may consider a few dollars not worth the effort, the Chinese will jump at it.

Merredin aerodrome is leased under a 100-year lease arrangement by China Southern Airlines and is used as a pilot training facility by the China Southern West Australian Flying College, who also operate from Jandakot Airport in Perth. The airport was leased for the sum of one Australian Dollar with the state government banking that investment would follow. The partnership in the years since has been successful. Upgraded facilities include bitumen runways, a control tower, fire control equipment, hangars, classrooms, and housing. Although the aerodrome is leased by China Southern Airlines, the RFDS and private users still have access.

    Hi jterry, welcome. Question, I like the Savannah very much and have seen it's construction up close (nothing like a Zenith btw) but why would you take one over a Zenith 700 series in the USA where there are many and support is very high? Just wondering ....
