many many years ago about the 1978 80 these 6 blokes hopped on a plane to go to 10000 ft at about 1500 ft the plane shuddered then five watched as the plane nearly made it to the strip
the pilot recons that it was the quickest exit he had felt
these blokes might have been silly and done stupid things
but why would they stay on board a shuddering plane good point

foxbat have failed to install rotax motors to the rotax manual sue your l2 or lame for not picking this problem
it is up to the plane builder to install rotax motors to installation manual and they have failed as there is no return line to tank as required by rotax
would some one please show or tell me when the rules manual stipulates that casa or raa have the power to change the installation rules and regulation
now maj raa have known about this problem for bloody years as this is one I will stake my life on
both raa and casa have refused to take notice
trike blokes that have 912 fitted you are not exempt
now its about time before oh shxx just don't take any notice neil
-
nev you are exactly right here comes the old but what if that one way valve has jammed open by hand rotation of 15 to 20 turns you have worked the oil pump thus filling or partly filling filter it has happened neil
-
I didn't ask if they, as engineers, had ever read the Rotax manual
my bloody point exactly rhtrudder why these so called experts exist and breath
now another fact for you to ponder I was told by powers at the top that all aircraft registered by raa conform to manufactures motors installation manual some are not
some trikes do not conform to the rotax motor installation manual and I feel that it is the cause off some off the incidents
but then again I don't know jack sxxx
I have asked several experts for the letter from rotax giving raa and cassa and l2 the right to change the installation manual of a rotax motor it has not been forth coming neil
-
that manual that has been written at great expense according to some imbersiles is not worth reading as it does not comply with what they assume is correct
assuming that what I am told by another imbersile is correct makes some people rich eh maj :yikes:oh sorry maj I hit on a sore point

apparently installation manuals repair manuals don't have to read just do it the cheapest way by the imbersile down the road
as some of you have discovered there are some that should not be allowed to hold a screwdriver or spanner as I did
fact 1 at the last Narromine meeting that mr bert flood attended bert and I had a very good discussion about fuel return lines and when I pointed out in the manual were it said that all 912 rotax motors must have a return line to tank he was taken back
on his return to melb he contacted me and said neil you are correct since 1997 as far as I can find out that has been in the rotax manual thank you
now there is a but in here why has this not been picked up on
raa don't want to know about it as it will make them out to not doing they assume they have the power not to comply
cassa don't agree as they assume they have the power to change the manual to suit there own agenda
fact 2 when I pointed out to a l2 that the fuel pressure was 6 to 7 bars:yikes: and the motor was running rough and I could smell fuel just replace needle and seat
fact 3 when the same problem happened again just replace needle and seat
had this imbersile had the manuals to this aircraft and been able to read same he would have found that there was no return line to tank as required by rotax
fact 4 I am going out on a limb here in this statement talking about manuals how many off you at the learning stage of your flying read the flight manual off the aircraft you were learning in
at the last natfly I asked this question
my instructor knows all about it was the most likely reply
fact 5 there are planes out there that do not comply just like l1 l2 just like lame just like pilots
fact 6 yes to those l1 l2 lame and instructors who do care and go to a lot trouble and expense off trying to educaite them their imbersiles thank you neil

spacesailor your info is totally misleading neil

may be I cant read check the bloody manual sorry facthunter you are wrong but you are still write neil

Isnt TBO normally a "recommendation" ??
no not if in instalation manual or matenence manual of said manufacture
what raa and casa are saying is beyond my abilty to anilisze as they are asserting full responceabilty to the next fatal neil
-
so what some are saying raa and casa ARE AUTHURIZED TO CHANGE THE ROTAX MANUALS ON ENGINE MANAGMENT AND INSTALATION OF ROTAX 912 ENGINES
please show letter off approvel from rotax neil
-
good day paul the same idiot told me that rotax 912 motors don't have to have return line to tank
so how in the hell is exces fuel going get back to tank oh sheeeet just flows out the overflow on to the exhaust
since 1997 rotax 912 motors will have rturn line to left hand tank as stated in the installation manual neil
-
typical turbo you hiding your head in sand wake up when is the next fatal going to happen through gross neg from the powers at the top two die at Shepparton witch was avoidable neilThe normal procedure for the Minister would be to have someone take a look at the Magistrate's decision over what you've sent off Storchy. That's probably not going to be in your interest. -
ok suck it up princess so old rules are starting to bite your arses are they i told some off you clowns several years ago it was going to bite
the shxxx that was going on when my plane was damaged by me and the repair work done to it by anl2 lame
now in the process off photos and what was done to bring my x plane up to airworthy standard is being sent to Warren truss so stand by for more shxxx from casa raa and casa wont be able to say civil mater go away
warning if your plane has a 912 rotax motor does it comply to rotax installation manual no mater how old the plane is

yeh but dead pilot arnt take take note off what the starter off this thread is saying neilcommas are free
-
steveron yeh HAVE for sale windscreen rudder peddles gasculator drain that does not work bent engine torsion bar for 912 engine frame for storch twisted under carriage bent wing with crack in leading edge EGT that did not work no return fuel line to tank on the 912 motor bent legs flap indercator not working no weight and balanceIs there any honest people left in aviation or have they Retired. For 3 years I have been trying to enjoy aviation and all I get feed is rubbish. Some aviation organisations would not survive in the real world given the poor workmanship and the rubbish they offer. Our Aviation industry is over governed to piont that it protects unscrupulous operators. We the aviators are treated to over priced under performing people, selling, building and maintaining our air craft. If this industry was dealing with the larger general public the government would have held an public inquiry. I have over 30 years in the motor industry and I can tell you - the motor industry would not get away with the rubbish that the aviation industry seems able offer . Once aviation people have sat an exam and received a piece of paper they are untouchable and because of the piece of paper we are expected to believe what these people say and charge . It seems there is no recourse . Our regulators are full of self importance and seem to be unable do anything accept to offer some BS spin to the public. This is how I feel.anybody want them as the powers to be said that they are ok these parts were removed from storch 24 4524 that was given an airworthy tick with these parts in stalled
safety what bloody safety my dealings with casa and raa stiff you get no help what so ever from either party or a letter that they don't want any thing to do with you neil

date off purchase rotax do have time limits as the rotax motor in the plane that I did own is nearly ten years old but has only 374 hrs it will be completely striped to comply with rotax directionsI would be very surprised if an approved inspection and renovate procedure wasn't available from the manufacturer to restore the engine's condition to run out the remaining hours. Does the statute period commence from the sale date?. If so that would be stupid. It could be from initial start-up. Some items have a shelf life on a maintenance release. Paints oils greases instruments etc Nevread the bloody manual
and another fact rotax have had a return line to tank in their manual since 1997 now there are new planes that do not comply with rotax instalation manual there fore are not airworthy
contact rotax head office not rotax aust if you want facts neil
-
like a l2 who said you don't have to have return line to tank rotax have had return line since 1997 in their installation manual
return line to tank after pump just before carby they even have a diagram showing how it is to be done
now there are new planes out there that do not comply some have a circuit just after the electric lift pump rotax have put out a notice to check carby flout I feel that there is no return line on the planes that have this problem
some of our l2 have no clue as what rotax tbo and time calendar mean
their is calendar time on rubber mounts fuel lines carby mounts oil lines
now if a magestraite says you don't have to have repair manual for any aircraft then you don't according to xxxxx
you don't have to weight and balance magestraite said so
the plane that I once owned should not have been flown in aust as it did not comply with rotax installation manual oh that don't matter
don't know how raa are going to explain no weight and balance when I get a plane cause the mag said I don't have to have it
