  1. correct me if I'm wrong

last centuary about 1990 when there was a argument about ultralights lights landing in paddocks that they should use airstrips and it was said at he time that they did not need airstrips as any smooth paddock would do

I have seen it written some where that an ultralight aircraft does not have to use an approved ALA

on the proviso that it is safe to do so

I have a gut feeling that old that is old members 097_peep_wall.gif.dcfd1acb5887de1394272f1b8f0811df.gif at Holbrook will or can enlighten us on this subject neil

  2. yen the lead to this says it all who did he train with

goes to prove that you cant train a complete idiot not the first time have heard of it ore very simular

like a person starting up was abused for starting up by a person setting up trike who was asked to set it up away from three aircraft as they would be leaving in about 10 to 15 minutes granted it was 25 minutes

according to him they should have pushed the aircraft down the strip :please:neil

  3. I stand to be corrected by others this statement is as i see it

now I was one of those that wanted change at queanbeyan I was there as you say the old guard were not being made accountable and did not have in their opinion answer to the members for grouse neg of bending and manipulating our rules and regs

proof of that was in the CASSA audit who failed we failed for not being more forthright in demanding answers from the top as to what was going on

Safety is only as good as the persons responsible for the application of it when an issue off safety was brought to raa reps notice fix your plane and fly so there is still a problem of not addressing the members isues in my opinion still the bloody same

as for spending monies to up date the safe working conditions and a modernization off the office so as it up to date 2016 not 2005 neil

there are rules and regulations that have never been enforced by raa it is going to hurt so don't blame cassa for your lack off not knowing neil

  6. so when a l2 l4 LAME repairs your 2 year old air craft with out repair manual for said aircraft or maintanance manual and raa was informed of this that there is a specific regulation and law for the repair of aircraft after an incident or accident not guide lines the repairer did not obtain repair manual raa reps did not act

there a few aircraft that do not have repair manual granted but part of the importation of aircraft is that they will comply with certain international laws and regulations

so why has raa reps now asking for data from l2 l4 and making a song and dance about it 8 years later when they have known or should have known to hard for them

if this senerio was out off their reach why not push it to the regulator cassa their the boss

p/s oh by the way cassa did pass the buck back to raa

farri after telling one ex rra rep to go back to school and learn to read and look at photos

I still have the parts that were removed from said aircraft that raa have on two occasions failed to have examine by them when they were less than 4 mtre from then neil

  7. when are the sheep out there going to wake up that they are being misled

lets get to the truth facts about raa

    9/9/2007 crashed plane my fault

18/1/2008 plane was deemed airworthy buy rep off raa l2 l4 plus LAME

nov 2008 wanted raa to examined aircraft as it was not airworthy in my opinion

2009 con formation that the aircraft was not airworthy

windscreen replaced undercarriage replaced gasculator replaced legs replaced rudder peddles replaced carby balance line replaced leading edge right wing repaired engine frame replaced

engine mounts replaced return fuel line to be installed to comply with planes repair manual and rotax installation manual rigging not done correctly

2011 paper work sent to raa not our problem matter for your insurance

in the mean time I am accused of bringing raa in to disrepute

2015 letter from C E O that raa refused to have anything to do with me regarding my aircraft that I had to get rid off

meeting 14/ 5 / 2016 approached by two raa reps and their legal rep to resubmit all the paper work to find out what I wanted what I wanted

the bullxxx and cover ups have gone on for to bloody long neil

  8. Another example which springs to mind is that you haven't declared any sort of emergency good pick up dutchroll on both occasions that I did declare a simulated mayday to the instructor

the instructor had on several occasions just pulled power to idle to simulate engine out not a problem when there is no noise that is a hole new ball game it aint a bloody game that is serious shit and some have no idea what to do

as I see it an engine at idle to simulate engine out does not have the impact of the real thing

some instructors get a little annoyed at being called xxxholxx for doing it neil
