    Many, many thanks for your information & help.

    BUT

    The fact remains RAA, had not made any hint of helping me & other 95-10 builders, in any way !.

    NOT ONE IOTA OF CORISPONDANCE FROM THEM.

    You are the only person that has said to register as 95-19 !.

    Why couldent those on the register be Transfered over ( to 95-19 ) Instead of Deleted.

    Could be the extra revenue by deleting one, to go too the next ?.

    Or the extra aircraft registered on two standards.

  2. Like a lot of Older 95-10 aircraft Not all relavant information was Not put out by AUF, 

    So some Bureaucrat found a ' wing loading ' paragraph that precluded Hummel Bird from being a legitimate 95-10, EVEN when registration Was paid for & was On the list of RAA aircraft.

    IF l had broken the law, and flown said aircraft ( unlicenced ) it would have been grandfathered as a flying 

    Aircraft.

    Never sent anything to tell me it was happening, found out by taking 10-1103 for it,s final airworthy check prior to it,s maiden flight 

    !?

    NO REFUND ON MONEY SPENT FOR FALSE RDGISTRATION

    Realy up my nose. That they could just wipe out a registration with no apology.  Or corispondence.

    Like my Hummel Bird, Can,t fly without Drivers certificate. SAo why Register ?.

    BUT 

    A Freebie ( VH-AWX ) will Get all that lost enthusiasm going again. AND will double that sinister weight thing reduction, that gets us Oldies DOWN.

    ( Just a thought: Empty weight: 685 kg IS that in the RA,A New weight range, or do I have to join the push for higher weight

    Who gets that airfield, that the Chinese were said to have paid, $one (  $1 )

    All the office furnishing are going, as well as the maintenance 

    BUT

    the Big ticket items seem to be the the ' flight simulator's , both over the $40,000 mark already. 

    BUT are they in they Chinese language or English ?.

    those airplanes l looked at, have another thousand hours to run on ' certified ' .( Engine " TIME BEFORE OVERHAUL: 1538.1 " ( prop " TIME BEFORE OVERHAUL: 2214.0 ". ))

    But " TOTAL TIME IN SERVICE: 11741.7 . TTR: 11158.3 (NON-CERTIFIED EXTENSION) "

     How many Years will that number of engine hours ( 1538 hours ) last a normal sunday flyer. 

    THEY WILL OUTLAST ME. If l had the licence, l would try my luck at getting a ' well known, safe, two seat, Good looking plane '

    ( at the last look Still cheap at $ 4,600.  ( item P2217-8 ( REGISTRATION : VH-AWX ))

    Anyone RICH enough to Buy a birthday pressy for Little Old Me. Pretty please.

    And how do l get it to Sydney ?

    That does happen.

    Has happened to a motorist in NZ. Took car in with gearbox problem, Mechanic said repair or exchange ? How much said owner .repair 2 thirds of exchange !.

    Three years later owner takes garage to court over excessive cost & time, court agreed , Garage had to put a NEW gearbox into car and hand it back, for owner to get it Reregistered. 

    Cost owner twice the value of the car. But it was a Classic car.

     

    How do those Chinese companies get their work done !, If the cost blows out that much ?.

  6. The top bids are over $ 12,000. with most still under $ 10,000.

    that makes $ 5g about half way. second hand parts would get that price surely.

    The auction notes:

    "TOTAL TIME IN SERVICE: 12124.3
    TTR: 10775.7 (EXTENSION HAS BEEN CERTIFIED)  LONG LIFE REMAINING ON AIRFRAME & ENGINE."
    Constant speed prop " TIME BEFORE OVERHAUL: 1429.4 "
    Seems a lot of hours left for private flying.
    BUT
    The gelcoat and screen are in need of some TLC.
    The panel is over the top for a sunday flyer.
    ( If only l had a Licence )
