  1. " it was worth it to get a decent dividend on their investment."

    BUT. there's the rub !.

The interest/dividend Is not increasing, only the perks for the upper management is increasing.

IAG profits are up,  Shares given to the exect's are up. Dividend to shareholders is 1% DOWN.

That's from their own information to share holders.

My own father, "Factory owner" was told by his lawyers to make himself & sons "Directors"

just to lower the Tax, and skim the profits down.

Also told to give the directors new cars every year. "Less profit" to hold the wage bill in check.

  2. " I'd rather bitch about his exorbitant salary and perks than who wears the pants in his domestic life. "

I'll second that, Less $millions, (upper management salary) could mean less $ for seats

That lower seat price, should be welcomed by millions of flying public.., not just to keep a dozen bureaucrats happy.

Systerson airshow  prototype VX770 crash 1958, Nottingham UK.

Marching on the runway, with the V-Bomber slow flying over the top of us.

  4. I was thinking that your Tecnam had Great economy & Large fuel tanks. LoL

I was going to calculate the distance, speed, & fuel burn,  (2600KLM ) just to see how many litres of gas you would have to carry.

I know it,s possible by way of Queensland to Norfolk Isle, to Auckland. Or was it Lord Howe Isle.

  5. The UK boaties had to have a cylinder head spacer, to convert to kero, as petrol went too expensive for boats.

I,ve still have the magazine pullout that shows "how to do it yourself ", on the outboard motors.

    BUT

It didn,t last as the oil companies soon jacked up he price of kero & heating oil,

In NZ I had a car running on 80% ethanol & 20% petrol using a 1/8th copper plate spacer & two gaskets. (worked well, when  no one had fuel to wast on holidays ).
