My neibour a few streets away has given up flying & he was a commercial pilot.
So it says to me " the rot has started ".
He has bought a 50 something foot power boat, his wife is over the moon now.
I wonder if his dad & he sold their twin engine Cessna, that was a commercial business.

If you Don't like this regime. (RAA)
Leave.
I did,
Miss my flying, but leaves lots of money for other dreams.

Just look at the Swallows or Martins, birds, if flying high expect rain of some description.
If flying low no rain.

It,s the old Pajero running gear under a Star wagon body.
A bit low with only 15 " wheels, good on Fraser Island, & can be moded to 16" wheels & becomes a GREAT touring vehicle.

My worst batteries (plural) are any brand of absorbed, glass, mat.
They seem to dry out & die just after the warranty period .
All my WET battery, s seen to last years.
Would like to try the new Lithium batteries, but not at those rediculess prices. Almost $400 for a $90 battery.

A Mitsubishi Delica Wagon
Was a seven seater, now it's two with a double bed.
Ten year ownership,
New hip, must find a COOL place to go.

What do you do to the other end.
or
ARE YOU DOING studs?.
I have found it's easier to undo the bolt head, No lock-washer, under the bolt, than to undo the nut, scrapping the lock washer over the surface metal, scaring it.

Mine only went through the corner of the nuts hex., with a clock-wise turn (wrap) to the next nut.
If it went through the nut & bolt I could have used a split pin !.

My Delica has been unused for 14 months, batteries disconnected, then charged a couple of times, just for good measure.
Reattached the terminals, and away it went.
New hip, must find a COOL place to go.

If the nut is lock wired, in a reinforced tube, the bolt can vibrate looose, if not fastend in some way.

Why blame the fishing folk, surely aircraft HAVE to give way to ANYTHING on their runway.
Drunken pax on commercial airports running after their plane, waving their tickets is not unknown.

A lot of two seat trikes have a good pay-load, so you only fly solo untill that extra weight gets lost.then it's up up & away.

"Get the engine offset right and you don't need any rudder trim. "
IF
offsetting the motor, does it work under "take-off" with the same for "landing", as well as cruise.

I for one dislike RAA, As the last HummBird registered, under 95-10. then told no flying in the allocated register.
Took my money, but no help what-so-ever.
Just pay again in another category.
even had members telling me "Pull your head in", & let it go, as we want heavier aircraft.

People can & have bought aircraft at the beginning (rose coloured glasses stage ), then Need someone to help with those excessive costs.
I would like someone to get my HB up into that "blue yonder ", I can't afford it any more, but still love, to sit in it & dream.
One day Imust take a trip to see the other HB owner in the next suburb now I'm walking again.

Has to be cheaper than owning.
If you have the license or cerificate that is, if still learning, they may want your house as garantee you don,t bend it.

yes
BUT don't All flying schools rent their aircraft when things get slow.

But Locktite type glue
Will let the nut & bolt rotate without loosing one end, or the other end getting into places that will cause nasty damage.
And can be undone easily.

Vibration is the culprit, that moves objects, including nuts & bolts.
Vibration is used in industry to sort parts into order, looks like magic when watching things move without being touched by human hand.
