Recreational flyer using his aircraft for commercial purposes...

Wonder if he has under-wing rego stickers and a cockpit warning label.

Welcome OA! You might try a forum search, there has been quite a bit of discussion about Canberra and surrounds, some fairly recent. Or perhaps post your questions on the more specific forums here.

Unique situation, the only PIC to run out of fuel and not to be at fault then.
-
What a senate inquiry because some guy ran out of fuel or is it about something else?
-
If CASA don't require it a simple photoshop job may be easier then?I can't see any good reason to have them, you can't read them at 500' and we wouldn't be lower than that unless we are landing!

I wonder if these questions have been translated into English from another language, like a Google translation? Heh I got the roughened aerofoil wrong and I'm not happy....

Read it on the internet, must be true.

Yep, bad at all levels W68.
-
Yeah, was only goofing Keith. As bad as parts of the Logan area are it's still quite reasonable compared to some of the dodgy areas in the USA I've seen; not bagging the country at all but it does have some really rough parts. Same cause as here, welfare.
-
Didn't the PM come from those parts? You are going to have to say what you really mean if you want to be prime minister.
Sorry about the double trouble Cheyenne (FL & theft), I hope the parts turn up somewhere soon.

Sad, always wanted to go to super-high altitude & see the curve of the earth. Darn Jab just won't do it.
Would a tin-foil helmet protect me? Maybe with a long earth wire?

Fabulous scenery! Is that a croc at 10:40?

Welcome BC! I need to try a PPC (one with a Gnu-sized engine so it can ascend as well as descend).
-
Sweet! Could have been made full size no?

Thanks for the political info Oscar, it is interesting!
Oh, seems you didn't really mean that then....Quite seriously, people, I don't think that introducing political ( in the sense of governments, be they Federal or State) commentary helps us.

Why? I suggest it's much better and an hour a week (although it will almost certainly take more than one week to certificate). At the end of the day I no matter who I go with I will end up with the same certificate do I not!!!!....I know of 2 places one in Tassy and one at the Oaks who are $150/h and have suggested one can take a week of work and spend the week there (Like a holiday) and obtain my certificate in a week. I'm sure there are others that do this. I have also been advised against this
Also realise that there are significant differences in average hours to certificate, basically some are going to try to milk you for what they can so the hourly rate is not everything. Ask them what their average time is & talk to their other students.

Howdy Greg! Seems ya pretty much a youngster on here....

Artificial grass is better than carpet, not so free though.

Welcome B2!

Hey cheer up Don, if I was being nasty I could have likened you to Gillard, Mao or Stalin....

Well remember that could also be seen as a positive comment depending upon your current political persuasion....

^ Mister you come across as rather like Rudd. Like us to all send signed blank cheques too....

Just buy a tensioned fabric structure - very effective at stopping sun and rain and dirt cheap (especially with a dirt floor). Alternatively I did an el-cheapo raised wooden floor in mine with sheets of particleboard sitting on timber pallets. As long as you don't get creatures living underneath or thieves paying a visit it's all good.

I've has stuff opened and bits stolen by Customs (also 'sampled') I think it is not uncommon & from what I hear they are riddled with corruption. This was through the mail & not aircraft parts.

Perhaps the moral is don't put too much faith in the government, eventually it will let you down.
