Emergency services were called to Medway Rd in Berrima about 7.45am Thursday after reports a light plane had crashed into a paddock. Pilot freed from light plane crash wreckage When ambulance, police and fire crews arrived, they found the pilot trapped inside the wreckage. Police said the 58-year-old man, who was the sole occupant of the aeroplane, is believed to have been inside the wreckage “for some time” before he was freed. Aviation authorities have been notified and are investigating the incident. 2
