That sounds great! We could have the translator built into the site. So you just type normal and it is converted into morse code and stored in the database. Then when you view the thread, the translator automatically turns it back into normal letters and numbers!

Yes that's what he told me also, Little Kawasaki, 2 cylinder with belt drive to the propeller.....I have heard that it will have a Kawsaki 28 or35hp engine. It has always interested me that there is a lot of single seater's out there, because I would have thought it is always nice to be able to take a friend or even a spouse up with you........;) but maybe the cost factor has a lot to do with it....i_dunno

Or even a thread where you write in Morse Code:idea:Ian, Maybe we should have a motorvehicle thread? Seems to be a interesting topic. -
Yeah isn't it great, Chird65 put me on to it......

Yeah I like morse code myself (as you can probably tell:thumb_up:), It certainly slows the mobile phone TEXT-a-holic's down when you right a text in the code.....
but pretty slow going all the same when typing it on the phone:big_grin:Cheers,

Fords do tend to have a better take off ability, but high up in the speed they can't do it.... An the Holden have better speed ability, rather than acceleration......
That's what i've noticed and also a copper friend said they nearly always get the holden car out for a high speed chase......because the Fords cut out at 180klm:loopy:
EDIT: Why does anyone still drive on petrol?
I'm working on it bass:thumb_up:, will water do;)
Cheers,

G'day, this is a picture out of a Bell helicopter (army one) of the instrument panel, thought you might like to have look, and it might give you an idea of what they use.....
You would nearly have to imagine that they would use the VSI, ALT, A-H, and DG the most wouldn't you........Any way I will the experts answer that for you, just thought you might like to see the instruments.....
Cheers,

And I just thought about a Holden one someone told me one day.......And the letters for.... "Fix Or Repair Daily" ..... "Found On Rubbish Dumps" ..... And then back to front...... "Driver Returns On Foot" ........ And Lot's more...
Ford Fans, I just couldn't help it:helmet: Even if they did win the Bathurst
I still like Holdens:big_grin:"Heaps Of Low Down Engine Noise" .... And I said, Yeah and don't you just love the sound of a powerful V8 with through exhausts:laugh:

And the letters for.... "Fix Or Repair Daily" ..... "Found On Rubbish Dumps" ..... And then back to front...... "Driver Returns On Foot" ........ And Lot's more...ps, bigglsworth.. Its easy to see the problems with fords, if you look on the front of the bonnet they have a little blue circle around it:laugh:....

If you go to http://www.smaengines.com, they are making engines for the cessna and other acft makes......
I think there made in France........
I reckon diesel engines is a great way to go, power/fuel economy etc... just need to make an engine thats light enough for the smaller planes...which you would think wouldn't be that hard with all of todays technology:loopy:
Cheers

Just remember that what ever you end up doing, keep your eyes scanning the sky for traffic, and not twisted to the right all night....

Aw gee, you wouldn't want to sit on them for that cost:crying:......or loose them for that matter:sad:I too swear by Serengetis K-man, but they can cost more than a half share in a Thruster. My current pair had an RRP of over $450. -
Well G'day, and
Shags...........also that is my fav acft as well.... I sore a S1S Pitts do aerobatics on the weekend at Ambeley Airshow.... and thought it was a beut little plane....

They look awsome:thumb_up:, how much do they set you back:question:If you're after a pair of "headset friendly" sunnies, the Oakley Crosshairs have indented arms which are perfect for headsets and come in either polarised or non-polarised. I've been using them for a while with no complaints. Thanks
-
I agree with wearing none polarised glasses, because I have noticed looking through the car windows when the sun is on the right angle, you deffinetely end up seeing rainbows and other strange reflextions.......quite distracting and anoying some times....The FAA recommends against using polarised sunglasses in flight for a number of reasons. Others will argue that polarisation and other features of sunglass lenses are not a problem but personally I prefer to go with the experts on this one. The FAA has a handy article detailing some of the problems with sunglasses, which is good for layman like me that don't fully understand what the issues are.http://www.faa.gov/pilots/safety/pilotsafetybrochures/media/sunglasses.pdf
Worth a read in my opinion.
Well that's my five bobs worth.... (only cause they stopped making 2s)

$18 R/C plane:thumb_up: that's a nice price.... what size electrics does it take (i.e Servo's, receiver, motor/controller)?, and where abouts did you get it from:question:
If you need any help with the engine, your welcome to ask, and hopefully my/our mechanical knowledge will be able to answer them for you.......
Cheers,
